“you...you’re an idiot,” yuri mumbled, rolling her eyes and trying to cover up how flustered she was. she’d always walked the straight and narrow-- she had big dreams, and one didn’t achieve the goals she wanted to achieve if they were fucking around (figuratively or literally). but there was just something about them that wound yuri up in ways that no one else could. she felt heat all throughout her body when they looked at her. and she wasn’t good at hiding how flustered she got when they came onto her. “i don’t know what you think you’re gonna achieve, but.......idiot.....” she mumbled, trailing off before she herself could say anything dumb that she quite couldn’t take back.

jubilee wasn’t always sure why her girlfriend still worked-- jubi herself was getting closer to 700 years old, and she had plenty of money to burn. maybe it was the principle of the thing, and while jubi tried to respect that, it was hard to sit by and do nothing when her partner came home so upset. why put her through that when she could live a happy life as jubilee’s trophy wife, right? but jubi didn’t bring it up, instead listening to her lady’s woes and offering a gentle rub of the back. “well.....fuck that guy, but i could eat him?” she offered, more jokingly than anything (though if she agreed, jubi would kill him in a heartbeat).
