I wanted to take a trip down memory lane, bear with me a moment. I have some highlights of Nelly Singe's fashion evolution. You've worn out of season gowns like they were yesterday, you at one point tried to bring squirrel in style, and then there's this beautiful Mannoff original made for you for a gala some years ago. What do you think your choice in fashion says about your place amongst us?
There it is. That’s the final blow. That’s the final cast to Nelly and she’s locked out of it all, she thinks. She watches as Caesar flashes pictures to the crowd, and they laugh, like she’d just given them permission to do so. She regrets it now, though. Nelly liked that dress. She had liked the sparkles and it was kind of gaudy but so was Nelly. And she had gotten those pelts one year in Twelve, visiting Griffin, getting him and his home cleaned and talking when he was coherent enough. She picked those pelts and she took them back and asked for something to be made. Maybe it was ‘couture’, but it was Nelly. That jacket still hung in her closet back home. She should go get it sometime and wear it again.
It doesn’t matter, though, they’re laughing, Caesar is looking at her with a grin and he’s inquiring about her ‘place’ with her peers and she knows she has no place with them. For weeks she’s been so fearful of the tides changing around her. She let her relationship with Griffin quiver and shake because she was afraid of turning on these people? The ones who mock her and make her feel like some clown? When on the other end she has her family, her real one.
This didn’t matter. Nelly decides it doesn’t matter at all. Not against everything else. Not with all of this humiliation. Not the dress made of trash that had sent her weeping home that night, only to have her mother give her reliable ‘I told you so’.
Nelly stands up. She hasn’t answered the question but her hands smooth out the front of her extremely unflattering cream dress. It makes her curves look like lumps and she knows she’s rather hideous. “You’re all so cruel, you must be aware of that.” Her hands tremble at her sides. “You don’t want me here, and I don’t want to be around any of you anymore.” She looks back to Caesar. “I’ve decided I’m going to stop trying to make you all love me. There are people who already do and I’d rather give my love to them instead.”
She doesn’t give Caesar an opportunity to respond, or to send her off. Nelly walks off stage, trembling, sweating, crying. She can’t breath but she feels powerful. She feels good. No one will care what Nelly did up on that stage, but to Nelly, it meant everything.
“hey,” there’s hands that glide down her shoulders, fingers pressing into her collar.
“hello.” she hums, leaning forward in the seat at the vanity, fixing her lipstick. “i’m almost done and then we can go.” her hand reaches up, patting his.
“the children are getting restless.” he mumbles. her eyebrows knit together and she looks up at him. he follows up. “i’m pretty sure they’re actually wrestling.”
maggie curses and gets up. “no way in hell she’d wrestle in that dress.” but her curiosity gets the best of her and she opens the door to see that yes, benjamin and georgia are in fact rolling around on the floor, until she pins him down with a triumphant laugh.
“georgia! that dress is worth more than your car payment!”
she looks up, brushing a curl from her face. “i couldn’t resist. one minute we’re talking about college and the next he’s got me on the floor.”
she looks between her, and then benjamin who’s giving a lopsided smirk, as though he feels just the smallest bit guilty about his move.
maggie looks at vincent, who just shrugs. “give me five minutes then we can go.” she holds up a finger. “no more pregame champagne for those two.” she looks to vincent. “we’ll never hear the end of it from her if pictures turn out like shit.”
–
“was it like this in college?” vincent comes up beside her at the balcony, looking over the beach where a cluster of people had formed.
“no,” she laughs, shaking her head. “georgia was only a fraction of herself in college.”
he hums, a hand coming to rub her back. at the scene, she’s holding a drink, standing beside benjamin as they all talk to those they’d gone to school with, and their now partners. even being this far away, it was pretty easy to hear what she was saying, and her animated conversation in the group coming through. maggie hums. “she definitely didn’t allow herself to be that person in college. and it’s nice that she’s got someone who doesn’t hold that person back. not to mention what things she chooses to care about. never would that georgia have let a man throw her around after spending hours on her look.”
vincent brushes some of her hair back when she takes a sip of her drink. she twists, turning back to face him. “what about you, hm? were you still a bad boy in college?” she smirks.
he snorts, shaking his head. “my bad boy days were coming to an end.”
she knows he’s had quite a bit already, judging by the fact that his drink has changed color three times, and the way his hand always seems to find a way to her ass after a while. “not even a few bad choices?” she grins, leaning in to wrap her arms around his neck.
“oh there were definitely still some bad choices.” he nods, arms wrapping around her. “wish you could have been a bad choice for me then.”
“you wouldn’t have been able to handle me.” she shakes her head, fingers running through his hair.
he just hums instead of responds, leaning in to fully embrace her, nose tucked into her neck.
she laughs, holding him back in return. it’d only be a matter of a couple hours before she knew he wouldn’t handle the party anymore and they’d have to go back to the beach house.
“you smell so good.” he mumbles into her skin. “also are you not wearing a bra?” he says, pulling her tighter for a moment.
“you can wear a bra with this dress vin.” she chuckles, her nail tracing on the back of his neck. “backless with a halter doesn’t work.”
“god you’re killing me.” he groans, pulling back.
when they separate, their eyes comes to find a group on the other part of the balcony. she tugs her hand and begins to make her way over in that direction. before they had even managed to make it, another individual approached them.
“margaret!” there was a cheer, and his long arms outstretched wide for a hug.
“garett, wow!” she laughs, dropping vincent’s hand to give him the hug in return. “i didn’t think you were coming.”
when they pull back, he gives a shrug. “well i pulled some strings with my work and was able to scoot away for a couple of days.” his grin is still as wide as it used to be. an infectious one that knew how to get a room having a good time. to say he was the life of the party when they were younger went without saying. “you look amazing, though. time’s treated you well.”
“yeah you too.” she laughs, “guess after getting that diploma we all hit the gym.” she looks over to vincent by her side, reaching out to grab him by the arm. “garrett, this is my boyfriend vincent.”
“vincent?” he presses his lips together, but still reaching forward to shake hands. “what happened to—.”
“old news.” she cuts him off, giving a nervous glace to vincent who instead just slid an arm around her.
garrett looks at them, and then nods slowly. “alright sure. well, glad to hear it!” his jaw tenses for a moment but then smiles again.
they used to hang out a lot. he was good in all scenarios— knew how to hype up a party, knew how to chill down in a basement. he knew pretty much everyone in the city and could find the hookup in a matter of minutes. she never understood why he liked hanging out with her crew, considering most of them wound up in relationships that were pretty serious.
“what are you doing now?” she asks, sipping her drink.
vincent leans forward to press a kiss to her cheek, whispering something about another one. she nods, watching for only a moment as he moves away before turning to garret, who’s watching him as well.
“how long have you guys been dating?” he says, ignoring her question.
“oh gosh.” she laughs, blowing out a puff of air. “it’s over four years now?”
“wow.” he raises his eyebrows. “i kind of thought you and that last loser were in it for the long haul.”
maggie hums, not giving a full response. she still doesn’t like talking about it.
“had i known i would have stuck around.” he continues.
“what?” she looks at his with a squint.
“well shit, maggie.” he laughs. “thought it was stupid obvious i was in love with you all of college.”
he eyes gape and she feels her mouth go a bit dry. “no, i–i uhm, really didn’t.”
“i mean yeah i came around by your’s all the time, just waiting for you to give me a chance.” he shrugs. “still find myself dreaming about a night where you call.”
“garrett, we haven’t seen each other in like… almost a decade.” it was hard to believe that someone she, unfortunately, rarely thinks of, still held her in such high regards. “i’m like— i’m really happy.”
“sure sure, you said that the last time, too. i was a fool to listen.” he takes a step forward, which she immediately follows with a step back, a small hand raising.
“what’s going on?” vincent says, coming back with his newly acquired red drink.
“nothing, babe.” but she instantly shrinks towards him, a hand looping around his arm.
“does she love you?” he presses his lips together. “like is this shit actually working?”
“oh my god.” she puts a hand up to her face, wishing to melt away at this point when she sees people start to look.
“what the fuck is this guy on?” vincent slides his arm out of her grasp and hands her his drink.
“vincent, come on.” she sighs, now holding two drinks. “your both drunk.”
“fuck yeah i’m drunk, and this guy’s making you uncomfortable?”
“i’m making her uncomfortable? dude in college i used to get her everything she wanted.” he looks to maggie. “remember that time we were high in my basement and i read you that poem? tell me that didn’t get you wet.”
the minute the word left his lips, there was a crack from vincent’s fist and he stumbled after throwing the punch. “vincent!” she quickly sets her drinks down before grabbing onto him, pulling him away. “that’s enough.”
“he’s a fucking pig.” he spat, letting her drag him. she can’t get him very far but it’s only a few seconds before georgia and benjamin follow up behind, ben’s arms taking over and pulling him away, georgia taking hold of maggie.
“hey, fuck you, garrett!” she calls out. “your poems sucked and we only liked you cause you had money.” she flips him off, following the others as they walked away.
“i can’t believe this.” maggie presses her fingers to her forehead.
“someone had to make a scene.” georgia sighs, rubbing her shoulders.
“i didn’t want it to be me, jesus!” she cries.
“maggie, everyone was in love with you in college, it was bound to happen.”
“what?” she shouts.
georgia doesn’t respond, they just make it tot he front of the venue where they stand by, a car already waiting to take them away. the car door opens, and maggie and vincent crawl inside. she looks at the door, seeing the other stand there.
“you’re not coming?”
“we didn’t get into a fight.” georgia shakes her head. “we’re going to go back and have some more fun.”
maggie just glares at her.
“but also to make sure uhm...” she her eyes search, “make sure that garrett doesn’t try and pull anything.”
“yeah, we’re doing this for you.” benjamin nod, grabbing georgia’s arm. “promise.” he says, and then shuts the door, the driver pulling away.
“unbelievable.” she huffs, sitting back in the car and now looking at vincent, who was holding onto his hand. “are you okay?”
“maggie, i’m so sorry.” he says, meeting her gaze. “i just got so angry and---.”
“shh.” she shakes her head, grabbing his sore hand and pressing it to her lips. “i think that was the only way he would have shut up.” she continues to kiss his hand until he unfolds his fingers to cup her jaw, so she kisses his wrist instead. “please tell me you’re okay.”
“i’m fine.” he nods, his thumb rubbing her cheek. “might need a little ice but it’s okay.” he looks over her before cracking a small smile. “that guy was such a huge piece of shit.”
“oh yeah.” she laughs with a nod. “big coke addict in college, and i have a feeling he did not quit.”
his other hand raises to brush back the hair on her face, hand holding her by her ears. “can’t believe you were the girl everyone wanted and i got you.”
“oh please.” she rolls her eyes. “if we went to your college reunion, i’d bet we’d find the same scenario happening to you.”
“would you punch someone for me?”
“fuck no.” she laughs, and he does too, pulling her in to kiss all over her face.
within a few more minutes, the driver pulls up to their beach house and they thank him, sliding out and heading back to the beach. maggie unlocked the door, and the second she’s through, she’s sliding from her heels and letting out a heavy sigh. “alright lets get you some ice.” vincent trailed behind her. “sit,” she gestures to the chair, and he follows.
once she’s got the ice in a bag, she comes over and places it on his knuckles. with her hands free, they place on his shoulders, only to move down his chest. “was bad boy vincent like that?”
“hm?” he looks up.
“did you get into fights over girls before.” she smirks, her fingers working the buttons of his shirt.
“sure, yeah.” he nods. “i did stupid shit like that.”
maggie hums, getting the first few buttons undone before her hand slides under the cotton onto his skin. “it was really hot.”
“yeah?” he smirks, his free hand moving to grip the back of her thigh. “you want me to get into fights more often?”
“no,” she laughs, shaking her head. “i’d like to keep my classy boyfriend, but this was a nice little surprise.”
“yeah?” his eyes twinkle just a bit, his smirk only getting wider.
“mmhm.” she nods, pulling her hands away to reach behind her back, pulling at the knot in her halter, and letting the front of her dress fall, exposing her breasts.
“fuck, mags.” he hisses, forgetting the bag of ice to bring hands to cup her breasts. she gasps when his cold fingers make contact with her sensitive flesh, which only makes him chuckle. “sorry.”
“i’m sure you are.” she brings her hands back to his short, undoing more buttons, letting out small moans when his thumbs run over her nipples. “garrett is an asshole, but---.” her words cut off for a moment when he leans down to kiss her breasts, moaning when he gets to her most sensitive spot. “but he doesn’t know what you do to me.”
she reaches for one of his hands, and pulls up the skirt of her dress, sliding his fingers under her panties. “this is what your little stunt did.”
he groans, bringing his face away from her chest. “i’m so sorry i did this to you, baby.” he said, kissing her collar, his fingers pushing inside her, making her hand grip his wrist tighter.
“what are you going to do to make it up to me?” she whimpers, her eyes falling shut as his fingers begin to pump.
he kiss her neck, his other hand groping her chest again. “i should ask you that.”
“oh fuck, vinnie, just fuck me.” she moans, nails digging into his skin.
he pulls away instantly, his hands moving to her waist to lift her onto the table, pulling down her panties and pushing his own pants down. he pushes inside her, and the two moan together. he takes hold of her leg, pushing it up to thrust at a new angle, making her clutch the edge of the table and curse.
her hands move from the table to grab onto him, fingers dipping into his shoulder and her lips pressed against his ear, letting out shallow breaths to match each quick thrust. “harder, vinnie,” she moans out.
he does as follows, only in order to do so, he nudges her back, laying on the table with her chest exposed, grabbing hold of her hips to thrust harder. her back arches, gasping in pleasure.
“touch yourself, maggie.” he commands, pushing her leg up higher as he keeps his speed.
she does, reaching a hand between her legs and moaning at the contact. her other hand grabs a breast, her body twisting and shaking at the rippling pleasure. she says his name countless of times, eyes closed, body writhing. it’s only a matter of time before she’s gasping. “i’m so close.”
“good girl.” he grabs her hips harder, making his moments faster as he feels her clench, and she makes those sweet sounds he’s so used to hearing when she reached her peak. he’s not far behind her, either, bending over the table in his last few unstable thrusts.
they’re left there panting for a few moments before she moves his head to kiss his cheek, then his nose, then his lips. “i love you.” she sighs.
“the feeling is mutual.” he states, resting his head on her chest.

UNREDACTED CASE FILE NO. 888888- QPC records show that agent vertebrae, given name LUCINDA MAY DIXON was last seen in florence on october 31st, 2019. psych eval describes them as dry & nurturing but otherwise fit for service at the maenads. at thirty-three, they have been recruited as a biomedical agent for the past four years. associations include: hair that is often pulled, cold laughter in a morgue, chipped sparkle nailpolish. end of file. - ashley graham, cis female, she/her
tbh, normally just goes by luce. lucy if you’re trying to be real soft.
had a very middle class upbringing in south virginia. two siblings, two parents who loved each other. then there was luce. who always kind of itched for more. sure, she had the mediocrity in her blood like her family, but she always craved rising above it.
school was fine. she was clearly the smartest in the family. she kept to herself, feeling alienated from their picture perfect and oh-so-boring lived. which was fine. she found her solitude with others which was mainly the nerds who spent weekends trying to hack into different things.
she always had a love for the medical, but in a bit more morbid sense than you’re use to. she’d be known at the one to come get fixed up after a brawl when at parties. she’d do it fast and clean and never ask any questions.
were her parents concerned? sure. did she care? not really.
she was able to get some college done in high school and got her pre-med done at the age of twenty-one. med school was whatever. she stuck around mostly the same kind of people; who were rough and rowdy and liked having her around.
she ended up getting a job in the morgue of the hospital. being stuck with the dead people seemed far better than the alive ones. it was also easier to sneak in people to get them patched up from their shenanigans. it didn’t take luce very long to fix up a few strangers before she got invited into the maenads.
listen. she’s not a super spy. she hates the idea of running around and trying to steal diamonds or whatever it is they do. but she’s happy to let them come to her after they’ve been shot and take out their bullet. she enjoys the people who work down with her than the arrogant freaks who run around above ground.
doesn’t mean she didn’t end up getting caught up with one. “falling in love” was kind of dumb, and she’d done it a couple times before but it just ended up hurting everyone involved so she mostly kept away. she did, though. fell in love and got pregnant way faster than she should have.
but he never got to meet his son. he died on a mission when luce was eight months pregnant. the news was devastating. even more devastating was realizing her son had his eyes and she’d have to be reminded by it every time she looked at him.
but god, if that kid didn’t change everything.
it’s hard, considering her work. she doesn’t like that she’s not around as much as she’d like to be. her son, matty, stays with a friend frequently. he’s over two now, which is crazy. but she sees him every time she manages to go back to her home.
personality
she’s dry. she certainly has a sense of humor it’s just the kind you can’t pick up on right away.
she’s always cared for fixing up people but never likes to make it seem like she cares that much.
generally lovely but like no hugs thanks hugs are gross.
doesn’t like to flirt or engage much intimately. after her partner died, she kind of rejected the idea of getting involved again.
(but it’s lonely)
wanted plots
annoyance from a field agent. bc they annoy her.
buddies from biomed or tech or research
past ??? things ??? she was only with that partner for a few months before getting pregnant. maybe 1.5 year
Howdy, gang! A little note to bring up to those thinking about applying! I’m going to be having an acceptance on SUNDAY, 8PM CST. While you might think this is a typical acceptance, be warned! After this acceptance, regardless of the results, Violl’s Cove will turn private (or semi private). Meaning, I will likely stop promoting in the tags, or having acceptances on the regular. I don’t really intend to expand the size of this group until there’s success with the current characters here (so it’ll be a long while). If you’d like to join, now’s your chance!
Whatever skeletons are left after Sunday will be left for current members to apply for and take up. If you don’t think you’ll be able to apply in time for Sunday, please let me know. As always, if you have questions, please reach out.
UNDER THE CUT IS INFORMATION FOR CURRENT MEMBERS REGARDING APPLYING FOR A SECOND CHARACTER!
So, you want to go for seconds, eh? Glad to hear it! Here’s a little bit about how you can go about seconds, and what I’ll be expecting!
First off, I’m going to be a bit picky. Not in app quality, because I already know you guys are super and talented! But there’s certainly things I’d like to see in order to balance out the functionality of the group. You’ve got two choices here:
You can apply with whatever vision you have, point blank, and hope that i accept it as is. If there’s things I’d like to see differently, I’ll message you to see if there’s some flexibility on aspects i’d like to see changed.
Or you can first message me with your vision and we can have a dialogue about your plans, tweaking as you go and avoiding all the work of writing out an app for me to turn around and ask for it to be changed.
In the end, I still want you to have a character you’re passionate about! However, I would like to see some edges buffed out with the group.
If you have ideas as of currently, you are more than welcome to message me! However, nothing can be guaranteed.
matthew & victoria for "24) things you said with clenched fists" please and thank u!!
if summer had a taste, it would be her skin. but he was caught in the summer night, shaded by all the darkness, and the empty halls. she stubbed her toe against a statue down the hall. he had to clasp his hand over her mouth, their giggles mixing together. he was intoxicated with the joy of being around her. after hours, when he didn’t have to keep his mind of appearance, and keeping her protected. he didn’t have to focus on how much he cared about her, and how far of a distance he had to keep from her.
they made it as far as the stairs before she pressed him into the dark corner, and kissed him with the kind of passion they knew well. he held the small of her back into him and kissed back. it was still dangerous, even if only those who worked for them would travel here. he had to pulled away, let his fingers brush back her hair, and tug her hand down the rest of the stairs, small giggles and tiny quips followed them the whole way.
the kitchen seemed to be the safest place for them. the cooks had long since gone to bed, and they knew he’d frequent for his own late night snack. only now, they’d do it together. lifting her to sit on the counter, he’d stand between her legs, letting her lick whip cream from her fingers, or opening a jar of pickles for her to dig into.
“this smells terrible.”he shakes his head, and laughs, his eyes crinkling.
she shrugs, but grins through her bites. “wait until you kiss me.”
he scoffs. his hands are on her thighs, stroking them playfully as he shakes his head with laughter. these moments were some of his favorites. he likes the moments when they found each other trapped between bed sheets, strangled moans filling the bedroom and an urgency to feel absolutely bliss within each other.
but this was nice. the simple intimacy. the soft spoken words. making each other laugh. just being able to play around with one another. matthew hadn’t had the pleasure to goof off with someone. not in close to a decade. but now he could make fun of her pickle breath, and have her make lewd comments. she’d tug his hair and he’d pinch her sides. they’d only roughhouse until someone made a noise too loud and they’d have to keep each other quiet through laughter with their lips.
these were his favorite nights.
“can you eat something else now so you don’t taste so terrible?” he takes the jar from her to go back to the fridge where he comes back with a left over cake. “how’s this?”
“i was about to complain that you’d never love me with pickle breath but the cake easily wins me over.”
he comes back, holding the plate in his hand and grabbing a fork before taking a bite for himself. “i’d love you with your pickle breath, i just wouldn’t kiss you.” he grins.
“so it’s a good way to get you to do other stuff?” she reaches over, her fingers running across his chest. “kiss some other places?”
“i hope you wouldn’t result to pickle breath if that’s what you want.” he goes for another fork-full. “you can just ask.”
“that’s too easy.” she shakes her head.
he brings the fork up, bringing it past her lips. “considering every else about us isn’t easy, i think you can let that department be easy.”
she chews, then nods. “fair point.”
he smirks, leaning in and setting the plate of cake beside her, only to scoop some frosting on his finger. “i’ll take care of you however you want, you just have to ask.” he smirks, bring the finger up to her lips, where she takes him in, keeping eye contact when she does.
she looks good. too good. they can go from their hopeless giggling and jokes, to have him weak and lustful for her in a matter of moments. feeling her lips and tongue on his finger had him in an uncomfortable position, when he pulled his finger from her mouth, he quickly went in for a kiss himself. the cake only helped a little, but considering how good she looked, he didn’t care. his hand on her waist, the other in her hair. his hand made his way back, pushing her closer to the edge of the counter, where her body pressed into him.
his lips traveled from her’s, making their way to her neck were he’d hear her gasp feeling his teeth lightly graze her skin. enough to feel but not enough to cause damage. her fingers curled in the back of his shirt. she whimpered his name, feeling her hips buck into him. their kitchen escapade might be cut short. his hand starts to travel under her shirt, getting more bold with his moves.
then her body goes stiff. there’s not moaning. no response at all. “matthew, stop.” she whispers, tapping against his back. he raises him slowly, looking to her face with confusion. she’s pale. maybe even green with sickness, and she nods to behind him.
his stomach drops. and he knows his skin matches her’s when he turns around to see one of the cooks standing in the doorway, eye’s wide. “ms. bowman.” he clears his throat. he feels sick. everything they’ve worked so hard to protect. he’s been so stern, but clearly not stern enough. they shouldn’t go outside the room, not even when it’s this late. because then this happens.
his fingers curl into a nervous fist. he’s coping with the anxiety rising in his chest. his breath picking up speed and he can feel sweat start to form on his brow. what does this mean? is it over? he knows she could take this, get enough money from the press to get a much better car than the one she drives. maybe even enough to buy a house considering this is the future queen of their country. he’ll lose his job. he’ll be ridiculed. he’ll likely never be able to work in security again. most importantly, he’ll lose victoria. he’ll never see her again and he’ll be left to watch her life through a television screen.
“please,” he finally chokes out through his thick throat. he can’t figure if it’s tears or panic that’s wanting to burst. but then victoria reaches forward, her hands reaching to take hold of one of his. it’s loosens, only slightly, so she can get her fingers around his and hold onto him tightly.
finally, her face fades to something other than shock. it’s rather casual, stepping into the kitchen more. “you kids are very brave.”
“what?” victoria says.
“matty here is a very good boy. i hadn’t the slightest inkling he was smitten.” she tuts, shaking her head. “with respect, princess, this boy is the sweetest thing i’ve come across in a long time, and i don’t want to see his life go to shit.”
matthew has to close his eyes, trying to center his reality before he finally croaks out. “i just need to know what’s going to happen, ms. bowman.” is he going to lose her?
there’s a heavy sigh, and he opens his eyes to see her wipe her hands on her round stomach. she’s old enough to be his mother. most of the cooks are. he spends the most time with them. prefers them over his colleagues. they’re much more kind.
“well, your secret is safe with me, if that’s what you mean.” she shrugs. “it’s gutsy what you kids are doing but i know enough about this one,” she points to matthew. “to know he’s a very closed off person, and if he’s let you in, dear, that must mean this is really special.” she shrugs. “love is sacred and it has to be protected, no matter the cost.” there’s a few moments of silence before she points to them. “but no more of this. it’s reckless.”
“yes, ma’am.” matthew nods, squeeze victoria’s hand.
“good, good.” she says that word a few more times, quieter than the last. “boy. didn’t expect this to happen.” she shakes her head.
“i’m sorry our burden has become your own.”
she shrugs. “what’s the big deal? no one talks to us anyways. i’m not sure how i’m supposed to keep this from the others, though. that’s the most stressful part.”
matthew purses his lips. “i understand the stress it will cause on your life, and i deeply apologize.”
“oh enough.” she shakes her head. “go walk your girlfriend back to her room and don’t worry about me. i guess i could use some kids to root for, hm?”
he blushes a bit at the mention of victoria as his girlfriend. it was so casual, so mundane. like the night he’d taken her to his home, the night he took her to his party. she felt like his girlfriend then. even now, she feels like his girlfriend. even if his girlfriend happens to be the princess.
“yes, ma’am.” he nods, stepping forward and turning around to help victoria from the counter. “thank you so much, ms. bowman. you have no idea what this means to me.”
“i have an idea.” she gives him a tender, genuine smile. one that warms his chest. it’s nice having someone on his side. someone rooting for the happiness he’s found. in a way, it’s nice to have someone know. it makes it all the more real. not just their own fantasy which they live in.
they sneak through the door, quickly moving down the hall and going back up the stairs. they only make it up half a flight before he’s pressing her into that same dark corner. hips against hips. hand cupping her face. it’s passion, it’s fear, it’s urgency, all in his lips as he kisses her. he could have lost her. everything could have faded away, and he could have lost everything that meant something to him.
her fingers wrap tightly in his shirt, whimpering into his lips. he pulls away only for a moment, foreheads pressing together. “i love you, victoria.” he whispers, fingers brushing back her hair.
he lip quirks into a small smile, her hand reaching to brush back some of his hair. “i love you, too, matthew.”
he nods, leaning back in, kissing her again with that same passion.
i’m making this post real quick to say that if you started with three muses, you can now send in apps for your next characters! keep in mind that the same rules still apply, and if you choose to send in an app, you must post intros within 24 hours of being accepted. the same activity rules still are in place.
