They only spoke a handful of times after Sentinel was shipped through primary academy the eventually Bootcamp, in the times where sentinel got himself into trouble though, his Sire was there for him in the means of money and discrete pay-offs.

Virtus was there to publicly congratulate him for the cameras on getting his Autobot badge, then again his primacy badge—the latter being an excruciatingly nauseating and fuzzy memory to Sentinel as his primacy badge was awarded to him not long after Elita-1’s death and poor Optimus’ expulsion.

After that incident Sentinel knew he had no one else to lose, a dangerous thing have especially when he made a silent promise to himself to best his own father one day.

Magnus position in sights, Sentinel behaved cruelly to claw his way to the top—which he did congrats to him. Didn’t feel as euphoric as he imagined though.

For a brief time he did get to finally be above his father, hell he could have order him around if he really wanted to, but all the satisfaction he needed was the to see look on Virtus’ face when he too had to salute to the new reigning Magnus.

Sentinel had everything he’d ever wanted so it seemed, then it all came crashing down when a brand new little spark fluttered within his own.

Hmm so Sentinel would not be the kind to seek out his father and tell him to his face how much he too resented his father, how much he suffered from the neglect, how unfair he was, how he was just a little kid—sadly his father broke him down enough to be that cowardly, Sentinel would not be able to stand up to him without a title to fall back on!! When he did, again few words were spoken, the high ground and a single look was all he needed to get the peace he needed.
