“I hate to ask El, but does this story have a conclusion?” Because Hunter felt like he’d been waiting for the woman to get to the point for the past twenty minutes. He didn’t mind listening of course but he’d begun to lose any clue of what she’d been talking about or what led them onto the topic in the first place. “I thought you wanted to see the fireworks?”

Fred squinted his eyes at Ella’s drink. “What in the world, are you drinking, El? That looks like it might poison you. Are you sure you got that from some certified to make drinks?”
“Ella, how have you been?” Silas questioned, a charming smile on his lips as usual as he pulled a slip of parchment out of the inside pocket of his jacket before holding it out to the woman. “I was hoping you could get me the things on the list if you’d be so kind.”
