Things back in District One had been well, normal. That was the only way Cashmere could put it. Things were as they should be, so why did she feel restless? She had spent the last few months working at the Academy and doing various fundraisers for the Capitol. Part of her had thrown around making a District One cookbook, so that was her latest project. People would buy it just because she was Cashmere LePointe.
“If I said I was going to cut my hair, what would you say?” Short hair seemed to be going in style, but Cashmere wasn’t sure. Their stylist wanted it but she didn’t. “Okay, truthfully... Second truth is that reporter keeps asking questions and I don’t want to talk to them, so now I’m talking to you. Even if I just seen you like yesterday,” Cashmere joked with a laugh. Everyone wanted to know about this Quell and Cashmere didn’t want to even think about it.
