Julianna gave him a sad smile. “Thanks. I appreciate that. I’m okay. Really.” She had just had a fight with one of her brothers that had left her pretty upset and Adam had been there to comfort her. However, the assurance that it was okay to cry prompted a few tears to fall. “Sometimes I just...” She paused. “I love my family, but I hate them too.” She whispered softly.
