Mona let out a small scoff at the words, shaking her head at her friend who was currently sitting on her bed as Mona looked through her closet. “So what if you are?” she responded bluntly. “Being selfish is not the bad thing all those morally superior people want you to believe it is.” Mona turned back toward Hanna and brushed a hand through her hair as she sat beside her. “Besides, you know what they say, Han. And this quote is especially relevant given the real life slasher movie we’re experiencing right now… selfish people live longer,” she smirked, quirking a playful eyebrow.

Hanna needed girl time. And not just trashy girl time she’d get from Toni or Jaz, but proper girly girl time. There was still a part of her which craved a good gossip session and she knew she was falling behind on the latest fashions, but her lifestyle now didn’t afford her all the luxuries she was used to. Even if she was a co owner of a business now. So Mona seemed the person to go to, they hadn’t spent any proper time together in what felt like weeks. “I know its good at times...but I just feel I’ve been overly selfish, with everything. I don’t mean to be either, people are going through so much at the moment and I’m just over here moaning at little things. and I know you’re joking somewhat, but I get nightmares just thinking what’s going to happen next.” she replied, letting out a groan. “I’ve been selfish with you also...you can admit it, I know I have. I don’t mean to neglect you. It’s not right, even if it does mean I’ll live longer.”
