Joonmyeon steps closer until he pushes himself inside; the smell of books is something that he missed, he’s not particularly an outgoing person and usually just stay home after borrowing a book from the library or buy one from a store so he isn’t quite sure about how long was has it been since he last went into one, despite having the memory relapse that caused him to lose everything made it harder for him to reminisce. He’s about to reach for a book until he hears a faint, “I don’t know what I’m doing.” from a corner and ought to check it out before anything happens.
He’s greeted with a petite figure, pale and adorable. Her curls softly laid flat on her chest while some strands of her hair were at her back. She’s gorgeous, he could admit that but that isn’t the reason why he’s there. As a good and kind hearted person he is, he quickly peers over her shoulder, careful not to shock her from his own ministrations before saying,
"Hello. Is there something I can help you with?"
There isn't a lot that Taeyeon can do in such a situation, not when her patience is wearing thin by the minute and all she desires is to toss the wiring she has pinched between her dainty fingertips to someplace where it won't be in her view. Of course, it isn't exactly an action she can perform in a public place, despite the fact that the interior of the bookstore she stepped foot into earlier has a mere ten people at most, judging by her quick glances around the expanse of the building, whom are wandering aimlessly to find their objective whilst she simply struggles with the simple task of unwinding her earphones.
The petite female has always had a hand for such tasks, but it's her patience that prevents her from succeeding in the first place. Perhaps it's the small, thin wiring, or the plain sight of the intricate winding itself; whichever it may be, her efforts are deemed useless and all Taeyeon can manage is an exasperated sigh that falls silently, coupled with just a mumbling of "I don't know what I'm doing." It's something that she wishes to unwind soon enough, yet the thought of the task itself is pushed aside almost immediately as an unfamiliar voice seems to call out to her.
The sudden inquiry does startle Taeyeon, but the initial shock is diminished as her composure is regained, the feeling pacifying and leaving her facial features stripped of any evident emotion when she flickers her gaze over to meet the stranger's. The male's action itself allows the corners of her rosy lips to curl in the slightest, creating the smallest of upward curvatures whilst her shoulders raise in unison. It's strange, she thinks, to have someone ask her such a thing when all she has done is emit the quietest of words, initially meant for her ears only.
"I don't know about helping me exactly," it sounds stupid to her, the woman knows the words that will roll off of her tongue next will be those that ask for help, yet what's been spoken isn't her own to take back. So, she speaks softly once more, simply lifting the hand in which the knotted mess remains before coated tiers are pursed into a fine line. "You don't happen to have enough patience to get through a tangled mess, do you?"
