as much as clarke would rather just run off into the jungle to go back to where they left the adams, she knew she needed to be smart and wait to find out what the other eves wanted to do. even if she would rather be with her brother, she didn’t want to make enemies with the eves. she woke up early, or maybe she never actually slept; she couldn’t be sure. but the sun was just coming up over the horizon but not enough to light up the cave yet. clarke was feeding the fire in the cave while the other eves slept, or at least laid around as if they were sleeping. she was mostly lost in thought of the past 14 days and how she and kian ended up on the same island at the same time without knowing they were just on the other side of the island. hearing one of the other eves stir, clarke turned quickly and nearly jumped out of her skin when she realized she wasn’t the only one awake. “bloody hell! you scared me,” she said when she registered that it was halima.

who: @halimabadjie​ when: midday 17 where: idk somewhere around camp

the day, like many of the days on the island seemed to be dragging. her morning was filled with random conversations with those around camp who seemed to just be walking on eggshells to take their turns at making sure clarke was okay. while she appreciated that they cared, she still felt as though most of them were only doing it to be nice and to make sure she wasn’t going to go off the deep end again. after awhile, she figured, maybe she should actually do something to keep herself busy instead of staring out into space waiting for the next person to come check on her. she decided to go around camp and gather up the discarded clothes from the other eves and take them to the water’s edge to give them a good rinse and try to get them as clean as she can without actual soap. with her arms full of clothes, clarke made her way out of the cave and towards the water but was stopped when she noticed halima. she liked the other girl and while clarke has spent the past few days torn up over her brother missing, she noticed that halima has seemed off as well. she could only assume it was because erin left camp. while clarke has been so focused on her brother, she hasn’t full processed that their friend has chosen to leave the eves. maybe she should have reached out sooner but clarke has been pretty self centered the past few days. so on her way to the water, she made a pit stop to the girl to see if she was busy. “hey, ‘lima, are you busy? i was going to do some washing and wondered if you’d like to help. could be good to have some busywork.”

who: @halimabadjie​ when: late day 15 where: eve’s camp

this whole day seemed to be one thing on top of another. she still hadn’t processed what exactly the black box recording meant for them because she was so focused on joss and erin leaving and how she needed to tell the others about them. which, admittedly, she was doing a bad job of. but could you blame her? she was going through it. she should have told bev instead of zoya, that girl would have told the whole group in less than an hours if she knew. since she was helping jude and telling her about where joss and erin was, shane missed the reveal of oona and clarke coming back to camp and the fact that the boys were missing. well, it was hard to miss clarke’s screaming but considering the state everyone else was in because of the black box, shane didn’t really think much of it. hell, she’s screamed a few times out in the jungle, no one came running for her. but after a while she left jude and figured she should figure out what was going on. going back to camp, shane went to halima, who admittedly she could never get a read on whether or not they were on good terms, but she knew she would probably know what was going on. “hey, what’s going on with her?” she nodded in the direction of clarke. “did i miss something?” ya know, other than two members of the group leaving, having to relive the traumatic events of our crash, and jude stumbling out of the jungle bloody and concussed.
