summer nights - noah
Familiarity is what kept bringing her back to this place.
It had been so many months ago that she had found the quaintness of the atmosphere this bar enveloped you with when you entered -there weren't large crowds of people and the music was tolerable and nearly classy in feeling and Mina honestly adored it. The entire place was different from the bar in which she played adorable hostess with kind smiles and gentle gestures so that her patrons could have some kind of invisible comfort to her. The days where she could grasp her own comfort were the ones she had the best time with.
Things had been so busy of late with her that she'd had to skip her usual routine of relaxing at the bartop and having gentle conversations with the bartender who she had a soft spot for. She knew the minimums of that man but there was something about him, some kind of aura that he surrounded himself with that caused her to find his presence something of a comfort. There had been a noticeable pick up of their conversation with the last time she visited and she hoped almost dearly that it wouldn't lull with her sudden two weeks of absence.
"Good Evening Noah." She murmured in near light tones as she approached the familiar seat of hers, 5 seats in from the right side near the entrance that gave her an advantaged look of the entire establishment and nearest to the dispenser of drinks and glasses so he would continue to come back if someone else had grabbed his attention. It was a calculated place but it was hers and she liked it. Making sure to smooth the light pink skirt of her dress she slid into her usual seat and offered him a smile, fingers splaying out against the cool wood. "Whiskey on the rocks please dear."
