Violet didn't know how she got lucky. This man had saved her life. She was sure, looking back at it, that she would have died by Rafes hands if she stayed with him. She always had a smile on her face with Barry and often found herself missing him when she was travelling for her work even if they talked daily.

She was back in the OBX, his trailer felt like home. She enjoyed it much more then the fancy hotel rooms she was set up with. Violet couldn't remember the last time she had felt free. She had always been under Rafe's control even when she was overseas, away from him. They had been together for so long, she had forgotten what freedom was, Barty had shown her that, he had shown her kindness and was a gentleman.

But she had to return home and she knew that he would be waiting for her and that scared her, no matter how much Barry tried to comfort her and wanted to take her home, she knew if her parents saw her with the local drug dealer, she would be under house arrest.

She said good bye to the male that pushed his way into her heart, having dropped him off at his home, having pressed a kiss of thanks to his lips before driving home. She had made it up to her bedroom and wasn't surprised to see her boyfriend laying on her bed, waiting for her.

"you've hurt me Rafe." She said in a soft voice, not moving from the door. She didn't want to be close to him. "You've really hurt me. I'm leaving, I'm going back to Italy, I need to be away from you, I'm scared to be around you Rafe, you've hurt me too much."

Violet didn't know how she got lucky. Billy was perfect in her eyes but then again she never saw the bad in people. She believed him when he said that he would break up with Sidney, that he loved her and would be with her even though he had yet to break it off.

She had just finished up cheer practice and was on her way home, having just said goodbye to the other girls and headed out of the schools grounds, walking home because her home wasn't too far. She let out a small squeal and as she gets and hand on her butt and she twirled around looking at one of two men it could have been.

"Billy." She squealed as she grabbed his had, her eyes flickering around to see ifnanyone was around them. "People could see."

Violet didn't know the last time she was so calm and so happy. She had gotten away from Rafe finally, it was harder than she originally thought it was going to be, he could manipulate her like no-one else could.

Barry had become her protector. She didn't believe that she would ever be with anyone like him. Her life had been planned out for her. She would married Rafe and have his heirs but that was not to be. Instead, she escaped her abuser and fell for the local drug dealer.

She had no idea what movie was playing as she curled up on his bed in the trailer he called his home. She was returning to Italy in a few days time and was spending every moment with him before having to leave for the mainland. Her parents already had believed she had left, everyone did. She didn't need Rafe coming around, knowing that he was still trying to get her back.

Violet grew up thinking her life was perfect. She had a family who loved her, she had money and she was overall fairly liked. She easily got hired as an international model after high school and she was happy.

She didn't really understand what happened with her sister. They were Irish twins born 10 months apart and had always been the best of friends. She listened to her sibling when they talked about how they felt and was on her side until her parents ended up putting a divide between them.

When Frankie moved in with their aunt, she was allowed no contact with him. So she focused on schooling. She was a top student and cheerleader. She was warm and friendly to everyone, no matter their background because she had seen what happened when you pushed someone away like what happened with her brother. It was in the last couple years of high school that she reached out and apologised to him for everything and slowly their relationship began to grow once more even though it was strained.

She often comes back to Hawkins when she is on break from her modelling career. To spend time with her brother and visit friends and family.

It had been a few months since Violet had been back in Hawkins. She had been busy living her dream life, travelling and modelling around America and Europe. She kept in contact with her brother, sending postcards and letters and talking on the phone whenever she got a free chance.

She had a 3 month break before heading to Italy for a fashion show, so decided to spend it back home. She hadn't told anyone. Not wanting to deal with her parents fussing over her and dealing with them trying to get her to settle down and marry plus she wanted to spend as much time with Frankie as possible before they found out.

It didn't take long for her to get into the Hideout, knowing that her brother was currently working. She watched him from a distance as he served and talked to a guy, that she was sure they went to Hawkins with. She let out a hum and walked over to him, leaning on the bar next to the young man as she tried to remember his name.

" You grew your hair out, it suits you." She spoke up causing Frankie's head to flick up and a smile graced his face before he jogged out from behind the bar and hugged her.

" And you dyed your hair pink." He let out a laugh and they grinned at each other. "I've missed you Vi."
