カタツムリ

蝸牛（かぎゅう）は、陸に生息する巻貝の総称で、カタツムリとも呼ばれます。殻は螺旋状に巻いており、その形は種類によって様々です。湿気のある場所を好み、植物の葉や地上の藻類などを食べて生活しています。殻はカルシウムなどからできており、成長とともに大きくなります。殻の模様や色も種類によって異なり、美しい模様を持つものも多く存在します。蝸牛は、ゆっくりと移動し、触角で周囲を感知しながら生活しています。また、殻にこもって休眠する習性もあります。蝸牛は、その愛らしい姿からペットとしても人気があり、自然界では生態系の重要な役割を担っています。

No esperan por nadie, Cóclea / Canut de Bon (2025)

Two Chilean bands share a member and so decide to put out a split album, how delightful. Cóclea and Canut de Bon share drummer Joaquín Gonzáles but they aren’t particularly similar; the former is sort of progressive and funky, prone to drawn-out flair and sometimes-wacky experiments, the other is rawer and more brutal, emotional. My preference between them changes by the day.

蝸牛は、軟体動物の一種で、殻を持つものが多く、ゆっくりと這うように移動します。一般的に、庭や畑などの湿った場所で見られ、葉や木の実などを食べて生活しています。蝸牛は、そのゆっくりとした動きから、のんびりとした時間の流れや、自然との調和を感じさせてくれる存在として、文学や芸術の題材としてもよく使われています。
