So, I threw a threat at Alessa in the ruins mostly because 1. I love collecting achievements like shiny Pokémon and 2. Didn't think that telling her to essentially shut her mouth was something that would make her fear that I was going to murder her in her sleep. Then the relationship stat shifted to "She is rigid around you" and didn't change. Even tho I still picked the friendliest options for her each time after. Does collecting that achievement cement in that stat forever? It made me sad.

I can say two things about that scene: One, Alessa was (and still is) under an insane amount of stress. She snapped and did it first, a fact she will recognize. Two, telling someone they will lose their tongue if they don’t shut up is, in its essence, a threat. One that Alessa definitely takes to heart.
