it's come to my attention that people truly believe that lucy and levy aren't best friends (despite constantly citing each other as such) and that lucy's best friend is not levy or natsu, but erza. i love a good agenda but we MUST be serious. i would go as far as to say that erza and lucy, individually, are both closer to every member of team natsu (natsu, gray, wendy) than they are to each other at this point in the story.
