How do I report social gatherings?
My school is planning a gathering of at least 100 people and at most 300 grades 6-12 to celebrate joining with another school (I live in a rural town so 1. They barely follow the guidelines 2. They’re both small schools) and I want to stop it beforw they shut down the whole damn county.

So for the past few days I have been doing research into making these masks. There are 2 styles that pop up. One is a surgical style folded mask and the other is more like a N style mask. I am going to make one of each today and decide which way I want to go. For the N style I have an idea on how to do the pinchy nose thing and I will probably try it on my ptototype.
As far as fabrics go it looks like 100% cotton broadcloth or quilting style fabric is best. The Surgical style masks tend to have 2 layers of the this lighten stuff. Heavy T-shirt fabric or cotton flannel seem to be a good bet for the lining. I have both on hand. I can't see the flannel being good for the surgical style because it would be very bulky with the pleating so I will probably just use the flannel on the N style.

The black cotton fabric I am actually going to start with has a clean basically invisible selvedge (side edge) so for the ties I cut about an inch into one side and ripped down the length of the yardage. Then I letter folded it so it would have 3 layers. Now I am going to run a stitch down it so I have several yards of ties to work with. If i have to use another strip with no selvedge I’ll cut it the strip a little wider and serge one edge

Made the N style mask. I am trying to decide if it's a little too big. I really hate wearing it. It makes me feel claustrophobic as I knew it would, but I'll wear it around the house to get used to it. They really are a PITA to make. The others will be much easier. I wanted to try sewing a piece of stamped filigree on the top for the nose pinchy thing. It would absolutely work if I had one long enough but I currently do not so I need to think of another solution. Taking a break then trying to surgical mask style.
