All my life I’ve been told I wasn’t fair enough. Bollywood movies romanticise actresses with milky white skin and advertisements tell me I need the latest and greatest in whitening creams. Even my family would tell me to try out home remedies and diy whitening after a day at the beach. It’s taken me a long time to get over my internalized dislike of my skin color, but I am learning to love it. Learning to love my brownness, and with it, who I inherently am.

The person I love has the perfect laugh. He's very shy too, and his voice is like caramel. He's about 6 feet and plays basketball too :)
