Since we are talking about shitty CD WOW takes, remember when she said Taurens are good interpretation of Native Americans.
Here is my sorta thoughts on that
Tauren's are probably one of the "goodest" factions in WOW, one of the least factions you can both sides.
They make it that way usually by having the alliance look down on Tauren which, yeah is fitting with the alliences preivious or I guess future actions more or less
And Taurens be generally altruistic survivors of tragedy
The biggest issue is that the Taurens are very entirely the "noble savage" archetype. Nomadic plains people who are all about honoring their ancestors and organization is under chieftens
worship nature spirits and have a strong connection with the natural world (though at least with this one you can brush it off with the it's a fantasy game excuse)

The war paint, the feathers, the totem fantasy writers always add to native American stand ins (though again in this case that has class implications in WOW so let's say half a point for the totem)
