A quiet grunt fell from Alec’s lips as he heard the alarm go off beside him. A piece of him genuinely thought he was fifteen again and he was going to be late for school. But he was twenty three now, there was no reason... Slapping his phone once, twice, three times he realized it wasn’t an alarm, but rather someone calling. One eye opened as he picked up the phone to read an unknown number and in a fit of frustration he threw his phone across the room, crossed his arms, and turned so his face was buried into the back cushions of the couch.
But sleep was no longer in the cards for Alec as he heard footsteps approach. Lifting his head he looked to the source but his vision was blurred and he could only make out the other’s figure. “Morning.” He murmured though he was sure it wasn’t all that audible. “What time is it?” He asked, his voice clearer now as he propped himself up on one arm, his free hand rubbing his eyes in a weak attempt to clear the sleep-induced haze away.
