           ❛     i guess you missed the part where everyone said i’m the world’s biggest disappointment .     ❜      he says it bitterly ,   almost aggressively ,   practically spits it out as if it was her mistake for trusting him -- but he doesn’t mean it .    he really doesn’t .    he bites his tongue ,    grits his teeth hard enough for his jaw to hurt as he looks over her .     𝗛𝗘'𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 .    at least ,   he’s not used to letting people down when he tried so hard to do right by them .                         that’s entirely new for him .     he doesn’t like it .

                      he doesn’t say anything else ,   if only because he knows if he opens his mouth again he’ll say something worse .      𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗜𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 .    he can’t even look at her .
