she had heard the screams from outside the arcade, and without giving it any second thought-- for the first time since arriving within the city-- she tried to transform. she had been so afraid, for a moment, that maybe she wouldn’t be able to. that being older like this, she wouldn’t be connected to her abilities, but soon enough, sailor chibimoon was running out the door of the arcade, nearly colliding with her mother in the process. she hadn’t seen her there, but in an instant, there was just a moment of relief that washed over chibiusa. “usagi-- you’re okay! what’s going on? it sounds like people are in trouble!”
