Maybe it was a good idea to ask her friends, since they knew her better than anyone. Focusing on college would be a good distraction from everything else that had happened in the past. even if will couldn't say he was ever incredibly close with his best friend's older sister , he could probably recognize her anywhere. not only her face , but the way she held herself. she was so many things he was not. “ nancy … ? ” he called her name hesitantly. “ nancy wheeler ? ” he seemed to clarify. he'd probably be nervous approaching her out of the blue under normal circumstances ; but this ? well , he didn't know what any of this was , but it was far from normal.
