She really is like a child who brought home a stray and tried to hide it from me.”

“Of course I would never mistreat them, they’re rather useful after all.” Alexei was not a nice person but hurting those who were already utterly under his control made no sense to him. Especially when they were capable of not only being a food source but also doing things for him whilst he rested during the day.

“I don’t recall inviting you to this party, are you with someone?”

Alexei absolutely went easy on Camille as far as the punishment for sleeping with Ralf went, it was an offense that couldn’t be ignored and while she lost a lover there were no injuries to her and actually killing him was probably the worse choice because he was the alpha of the London pack. Killing him could have easily spiraled into full on war in the streets which would inevitably lead to shadowhunters getting involved.

Henry first started inventing things as a child after learning about Da Vince, though back then he had far less resources and all of his inventions were relatively small.
