Alice’s friend was looking after Jamie when Brad rang the bell, he didn’t know Alice wasn’t there. He told the woman she could go and he’d look after the boy until the blonde was home, she looked exhausted. Brad was trying to play some baby songs on his acoustic guitar while the boy played with some of his toys, and that made Jamie laugh, so in his head he succeeded at babysitting. “We’re basically a band now, Jamie,” He commented with a smile before turning his head, noticing Alice was there. “How long have you been standing there?” @lostxones​

blake dances over to the standing table alice had been guarding with their next round of shots in hand, a wild grin on their face and a stupid wiggling brow aimed at their companion, “you’re on the next run, the bar tender is starting to look at me funny. i think he wants to call security if i get rowdy,” they laugh, sliding the shot across the table to their friend, “to masters?” they offers jokingly, their shot held up high, “for throwing an absolute rager!”

“Why would I want to live in the Faerie or join a court, last I checked they swapped me out for someone else and expected me to die. I think I’ll just stick to being a mundane.”

“I, uh, don’t really lie,” she couldn’t make herself, she had tried before and every time the words weren’t able to leave her mouth. She had choked on the words I’m fine so many times when she was a child before she realized it just wasn’t possible to reassure her parents with the rather obvious lie.

Despite not really being a social person after years and years of being mostly isolated due to whatever was wrong with her Alice finds herself drawn to places with crowds and will often put on just ambiance noises that make it seem like there are people around when she is alone.

“Am I hallucinating right now?” Alice wasn’t exactly clean right now, but with all of her medical issues if she was she would be dead and she hadn’t taken anything other than the stuff she was meant to. She hadn’t even had enough alcohol to be buzzed yet and that never made her see stuff before.

Due to her rarely being out of the hospital as a child Alice never really noticed that she could see things normal people couldn’t until she was in high school and even then she just sort of assumed it was a side effect of either the sickness she had or one of the many things she took to counteract whatever it was that was wrong with her.

“Is there something you want? I don’t really come here to talk to people,” Alice had learned she liked the energy of the crowds that usually filled the club, especially when there was a live band, but she had no desire to become one of the many voices in it.
