"Hola, earth to Josie-" Paloma frowned looking at her friend and waving her hand in front of the other, "Did I loose you?" she chuckled although she didn't much mind, but her eyes did follow Josie's gaze, a playful smile appearing on Paloma's face as she waited if Josie will elaborate what or more like who was she looking at.

Andy was just going through the kitchen door to pick up another paper wicker basket for a kid that wanted to do the the egg hunt and didn't see Josie in the doorway almost colliding with her. "Josie, hey" she said brightly, hugging her friend straight away. "Glad to see you here, happy spring!" Andy beamed, stepping outside properly so they wouldn't be in front of the entrance.

"Looks a bit empty now doesn't it?" Paloma looked around as she brought the teas she'd made for Josie and herself into the room. "Crazy how much stuff you can pick up in such a small time." she shook her head.

Where: outside the dance hall When: around 3pm

Paloma went out for a quick smoke break, she found that stepping outside was like coming out of some sort of dream. The woman almost forgot it was still broad daylight. She could still here people laughing and talking inside. This outside world was kind of sadder, that's the only way Paloma could explain it as she sat down on the pavement and lit a pre-rolled cigarette. She took a few drags, looking at the passive town around her before she heard someone else coming out. Paloma turned to see the local librarian, "Hey, Josie" she waved with a smile, Paloma had been to the library numerous times now, mostly since google wasn't available in this town, she wasn't much of a reader really. "Having fun?" she asked taking another inhale.

"The trees are beautiful this time of the year" Paloma noted, handing Josie a glass of plum wine. "Although the petals keep getting in my hair," she added taking a white piece from her loose hair a smile playing on her face. "So nice to have your own garden." she mused looking up at Josie.

"Thank you. Maybe that's a stupid thing to say, but thank you. For being patient with G. I know you and I are more alike than we want to admit, a silent, unspoken history that means we never thought this was our outcome. But it was, and I'm grateful that it... all seems to have worked out. You two drive me insane, but I guess Sissy and I do that to other people, too. G's good people- you're good people, even if you don't think so. This place will eat you alive if you let it, and I nearly let it, after Gia. But I know it was better to have known her and hurt the way I do now, than to have never felt that at all. Not a lot of people extend their affection to the dead. I'm... Just thankful you decided the ghost that stuck around was worth the legwork like the rest of us did."
