Here's a fun fact before Yui was Yui, she was Princess Yu 1st daughter of Dbk and Pif and a child during their divorce (yes, there was a divorce in jttw).

This is a re-draw from a very old comic of mine (if I find it i'll share it)

Basically, before becoming Yui and now Shen Yu, the adopted daughter of the Snake Queen, I had an Au where she was a demon who demanded random child sacrificees from a nearby village, but these children we're often abused, homeless, or about to be.

She would take them under the guise of eating them, but she had a lair that was a school with demon attendants teaching the kids reading, writing, and agriculture all thing she wanted them to learn so that one day when they want to leave her nest they would knowledgeable about the world to survive within society and hopefully raise a family better than what they were given with her guidance.

Shen Yu's "Thunder Mirror" has the ability to conjure a pair of brass knuckles and summon an extra pair of hands, both made of lightning. This mirror was a gift from the Snake Queen Shen Qi. Her adoptive mother.

Fun: Fact Yu and Ren both changed their names when the Snake Queen and Ao bing... died??? Both willingly abandoning their past and embracing the identities of her children. Yu straight up takes the Snake Queens' last name as she was closer to her, and Ren chooses a name that he relates to his adoptive dad, Ao Bing. Narratively, this also symbolizes that they are now the rulers of the city that was left behind.

I might've gotten a bit too excited when i started making 'failsafe' and set the standard a bit too high for myself that I am scared of it. But I've learned a few things that should help me to be better at this whole thing.

The past comics are still cannon, and you can consider this new one a side story for that one if I ever pick it up again.

This one might take a while just cuz I wanna know I can finish this one even with school in the way. Here are some of the current related wips, and I can't thank ya'll enough for the support (Ｔ▽Ｔ)

I've wanted for the longest time to introduce some new lmk oc characters, but they show up waayyyy later in 'failsafe', and I just do not have that patience, so ya'll will meet them now as soon as possible... cuz I say so.
