It's been years and I'm still not over how good this cliffhanger was, so I drew it!

This is one of the reasons why, the more I think about it, the more I believe that while it was primarily his choice, Vax was allowed to leave the RQ's side in C3 and do what he did.

ho man, im binging CR1 while waiting for CR3. and after Vax comes out of the communion pool and the raw emotion in his voice when he goes to Pike 'Do you speak to Her? Do you understand?' got me fucked up

right??? episode 57 is, probably my favourite in c1, bc just the sheer amount of character stuff in that episode, i'm always astounded by the like three different character arcs that all got major attention in that ep

(and all of it's soooo good like i have a post somewhere i may go find later talking about the parallels between vax and percy in this episode bc it's absolutely fascinating and the raven queen stuff is real fun, and yeah more to your point the pike and vax stuff is also suuuuper cool)

(and also it's the exact midpoint of the campaign which i like just for number satisfaction reasons)

but like. god. i'm not much of a religious person myself so it's rare a religion arc cuts right through my soul but this one sure fucking does
