Day 13/100. History essay (as per usual). I also caught up in maths and started revising for my C12 exam in January - I'm so worried about it as I really want to do well

tfw edexcel just murders you, uses your corpse as a catwalk then mails pictures of it to your mourning family
This is the first exam since gcses that I actually think went well omg @god thank you, i'm blessed 👏
HELP PLEASE!! *Preferably A level maths students but anyone tbh* I had a go at the paper I sat last year (C2 June 2015) in preparation for tomorrow For the last question I had to differentiate the equation, equate to 0 then solve for r What I want to know is why isn't the value of r the same when you cancel out the rs on either side of the equation rather than multiplying both sides by r^2?? This would then give you r^3=25 (the right answer) and not r=25 Is it for the same reason that when you solve quadratics, you always factorise and never cancel out the variables otherwise you would lose solutions?
I can't believe I'm just sitting here as if I don't have my C2 maths resit tomorrow smh
Making revision notes for mocks
How did you find the c2 exam? I though it was OK, harder than c1 and I fucked up the logs question, but I don't think there was anything too hard.
same, i aced the logs question but messed up w/ the geometric series one and the last one. i think it could definitely have been worse :)
what did you think of c2?
it was a tough paper, i had a look at the unofficial paper and confirmed that. i do think it could have been worse though because 60% of the paper i had no trouble with, i just made some silly mistakes and messed up here and there like the geometric series q, the integration w/ limits question and the last one about the cost of polishing the laser thing, how did you find it?
