C2E141 (mild) spoilers in text //
Dude I'm bawling so hard it's such a simple exchange but the tenderness and sincerity in this is punching me in the gut. Hearing Jester think back on her childhood and admitting her loneliness. Her growth as a character just made itself apparent to me once more with these lines, both how she's achieved her ambitions of exploring the world & making friends and how she's grown comfortable in her skin to be vulnerable and not hide her pockets of sadness behind excitement. Thank you Laura Bailey for your character and story.
I love critical role because Molly/Kingsley has been back alive for less than a day and he’s already flirting with Caleb
"And he lets go and drifts out to the front of the grove, and is gone."
Fold Space was Lucien's end-game teleport ability.
HMMMMM....
One year later, still can’t believe this happened.
Marion Lavorre: Me and your father, we have much to discuss. As much as we might still care for each other, he believes his position as a crime boss in one city of the Empire means he could bring the attention of dangerous people to our family. Jester Lavorre, who less than 24 hours ago summoned a goddamn earthquake in the middle of an eldritch city floating in an entirely different plane of existence: ........... Right...
Also thinking about the bit in c2e141 where Beau and Yasha are talking about Molly/King and wondering if he's going to end up being a whole different person... wanting to make sure they don't influence him too much, that they don't force him to become the person they remember...
That conversation was just so good. Especially when we know that Kingsley later goes to them to ask about his past during the reunion... Lots of thoughts about Kingsley and Beau and Yasha's relationship.
