(1:35) I do love how all of the information about the Kryn is so biased. Like of course all of the books about them in the Empire would be grossly wrong due to a combination of lack of information and intentional misinformation campaigns.
Also interesting how Matt is subtly implying that the Kyrn are missionaries spreading worship of a new and dangerous god

Honestly a very impressive research trip for Caleb. Learning about the Luxon, dunamis, rumors about the future love of your life, what more could you want from a trip to the library?

Hilarious line but also interesting cause Fjord isn't normally a very revenge motivated person. Sabian really pissed him off (I imagine because of Vandren)

She's so focused on extracting the promise from Caleb like shes worried he's going to want to back out once he hears what she wants. She's so used to hating herself that she doesn't realize how much Caleb loves her
