Nein Again music for Episode 69: The King's Cage under the cut! Several of the songs seem to skip ahead early, but I'm sure of the motifs I hears near the beginning. It may have been that the playlist was made to fade into the next songs, or the device was simply skipping. I still got quite a few songs!
At 12:55, Monastery from Diablo II plays as Matt ends his recap and the Nein decide what to do now that the door forward is open.
At 18:50, Leoric from Diablo II plays as Nott asks Jester if she's seen her flask.
At 22:00, Cursed music from WoW plays as Jester tells Nott that she worries that Nott doesn't check for traps. I timestamped Cursed 3 below.
At about 24:00, Rogue Encampment from Diablo II plays as Jester discusses that she's afraid everyone might not make it back.
At 27:00, Wilderness plays as Beau does another check around the area.
At about 34:00, Cave from Diablo II plays as Fjord looks around to see if Obann has been in the area or even passed them up.
Around 41:30, Spider plays as the Nein decide where to go in the new chamber and Caleb switches his transmutation stone.
At about 45:00 or so, Kurast plays as the Nein continue inspecting the sarcophagus.
At 50:20, Monastery repeats as Caleb uses Frumpkin to explore the chamber further.
At 56:20, Cave repeats as the Nein spread out and Caleb casts Fortune's Favor on himself.
At about 1:00:30, Spider repeats as the Nein confront Obann.
At 1:07:10, Matt switches to a new playlist beginning with What Makes Us Strong from World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. This is the music used in the expansion trailer.
I'm still hunting for the heavy metal that plays at 1:11:30. I don't think it's from Diablo II, Diablo III, Witcher 1/2/3, or WoW, but there may be a DLC I missed. I'll update if I find it.
At 1:14:10, Enmity from WoW:BfA plays as Matt allows the Barlgura to make two attacks while falling.
I'm also hunting for the music at 1:20:10 or so. It's the combat music with the dramatic chorus. I'm pretty sure it's from Diablo III, but it's got a massive music catalogue, so I'll have to come back to this one.
At 1:24:20, Waycrest's Curse from WoW: BfA starts as Jester attempts to grapple Obann with the Inescapable Lash. It's the song that sounds like Phantom of the Opera at the opening.
At 1:27:30, Xaxas from WoW: Cataclysm plays right as the Laughing Hand bursts out of the sarcophogas. It's the music from the expansion cinematic. Notably, the dramatic chord that plays during Matt's narration is right at the start, and he didn't mess with the music, so he knew the music cue well enough to time it once he heard the song start about 5 seconds earlier.
At 1:29:45 or so, Before the Storm from WoW: BfA briefly begins as Matt mentions the giveaway before they cut to break. The same song was also already in progress as we returned from break at 1:55:15.
At 2:03:30, What Makes Us Strong repeats as Yasha takes her turn to flank the Laughing Hand and takes attacks of opportunity from the hounds.
At 2:07:45, Enmity repeats as the Barlgura also attacks the Laughing Hand.
At 2:13:50, Waycrest's Curse repeats as Caleb wraps up his turn with Cat's Ire and the Glove of Blasting.
At 2:21:15 or so, Enmity repeats as Jester uses her mirror images to avoid an opportunity attack from the Laughing Hand.
At 2:27:15, Before the Storm repeats as Yasha passes her wisdom save to resist the Laughing Hand's laughter and take an attack.
At 2:38:30, Xaxas repeats as the Laughing Hand lashes out at Caduceus and the hounds rush through the dark to Jester.
At 2:40:40, Waycrest's Curse repeats as Jester is stuck on the stairs and her spiritual weapon attacks the hound blocking her.
At 2:43:50, What Makes Us Strong repeats as Obann blocks an attack with Shield and Nott gets some attacks in anyway. This is the song playing when Yasha fails her wisdom saving throw as Obann triggers the geas.
At 2:55:00 or so, Before the Storm repeats as Yasha misses her first attack on Nott, then hits on the second.
At 3:10:15, Waycrest's Curse repeats as Fjord ends his turn with movement and Yasha attacks Capeleb.
At 3:13:20, What Makes Us Strong repeats as Capeleb runs out with Caduceus and Beau tests removing the dagger from the lock.
At 3:17:35, Enmity repeats as Jester flees and Yasha takes an attack of opportunity on her last mirror image.
At 3:26:30, Xaxas repeats as Marisha and Liam strategize what they can do to save Fjord, then Caleb casts Wall of Fire to shield him.
At about 3:33:00, What Makes Us Strong replays as Beau attempts to grab Jester's missed attack with the Inescapable Lash.
At 3:39:50, Waycrest's Curse repeats as enlarged Beau disengages and rushes through the closing door.
At 3:42:55, Enmity repeats as Jester accidentally trips Caduceus when trying to pull Yasha through and the door closes.
At 3:48:55, Xaxas repeats as Caleb attempts to run off the bridge and the Nein make it to the undead chamber.
At 3:51:10, Before the Storm repeats as the Nein fight their way through the undead chamber.
At 3:58:25, Matt switches playlists, but I couldn't make out the quieter song. I'll look this up again later.
At 4:02:10, Jungle from Diablo II plays as Beau says she doesn't think it was all for nothing and Caduceus agrees.
At 4:10:35, The Tomb of Sargeras from WoW: Legion plays as the Nein look at the map of the Greying Wildlands to see if they can find the mountain Caduceus mentioned from his vision.
At 4:12:20, Rogue Encampment from Diablo II plays as most of the cast leaves the table and Yasha has a solo scene.
At 4:15:30, Cursed music from WoW repeats as Yasha and the Laughing Hand break through the door and make their way through the dungeon.
That's all for this week!
