I will forever be amazed at Laura Bailey’s ability to make such a deep deep character who has so many layers and is so real and I dunno something about her not having like a super tragic backstory, like no cataclysmic event within it, like her backstory seems like one of the more chill ones? With her loneliness and sadness being buried under this layer of candy and pranks and yet she still having like this prolonged emotional arc and it’s really getting to me? IDK I just haven’t seen it a lot in D&D shows (not that I’ve watched/listened to that many) and also Jester is just a super compelling character and I love her
