ohhhh my gosh, Liam’s acting fully coming out in the talk with Breshio. This is personal to Orym. You can see it in the body language Liam gives. Every part of my theatre kid soul is losing it with the amount of emotion we’re able to see in a character of often so few words.

So when Fearne said her grandmother told her about the Nightmare King, it was like "I remember going to school with this one kid, he made a firecracker whoopee cushion and put it on the teachers chair...and that's why Ms. Dorset didn't have pubes... yes, he was funny, but he was quite the violent fellow...I wonder what he is up to now"

The scribe listening to Imogen’s topics of interest must have been hilarious. Like I know they’re on the payroll and deal with a lot of rich arcanist bullshit but all I can think is:

Imogen: So I’m looking for information on prophetic dreams. The scribe, taking notes: uh-huh. 

Imogen: telekinesis, weird powers coming on suddenly...

The scribe: yes, yes, many sources of powers and spells that fit that. 

Imogen: also where someone might have gotten the ability to read minds without meaning to.  

The scribe, pausing as comprehension dawns: come again? 

Imogen: Sudden powers and mind reading. It’s very important. Yes, I know you don’t get paid enough and yes the receptionist probably does have it out for you but I’m in a library and I need help. Please. *big eyes*

The scribe:

The scribe: You know what? That’s freaky but you are literally being nicer to me than anyone I’ve spoken to here in a week. Fuck it, let’s go.
