Campaign 4 Character Reactions

Thought it would be interesting to track my vague interest in characters as we go through the prologue. First episode is really just who went for a big swing.

Completely Neutral: Halandil and Azune (Sad bois, patent pending); Teor (furry Travis); Vaelus (loving the concept, no real feeling yet)

Eyebrow Raised: Kattigan (I mean, got personality that's for sure); Occtis (I like Alex's preference for very flawed characters); Bolaire (Taliesin's normal weird, but I'm listening); Murray (Big tiddy dwarf with the drawl? yeah, I'm in)

I'm Paying Attention: Thaisa (Mom, of course, but I think I'm mostly reacting to getting some great Aabria time); Thimble (Not enough time, but Laura Motherfuckin' Bailey, folks); Julien (Got to love just going hard into antagonism)

You Won Me Over: Wicander and Tyranny as a pair only. No feedback.

Critical Role C4E001 Morning After Thoughts

SPOILERS BELOW!!!!

MAJOR SPOILERS FINAL WARNING!!!

Okay, wow. C4 started off so strong, and I'm honestly so in love with everyone's new characters. So after sleeping on it, here's what I'm still thinking about:

1.WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT GLYPH?!?! Thimble was attacked (fuck you Brennan for immediately making Laura roll death saves) and managed to save the real glyph, so who gave Thjazi a fake one and how did they know? How did the mystery attackers know about Thjazi's stolen/hidden Stone of Nightsong and the plan? Was there a mole?

2.What is the connection between Bolaire and Vaelus? Clearly, they know each other and have some sort of history (and I'm obsessed with both characters. I have questions and I feel like they will be answered next episode, but after the intense amazingness that was Vaelus's entrance I have so many questions.

3.Wicander is hiding something 1000%. I'm someone who tracks stats for my own sanity, and there is no way Sam made a Cleric with 10 Wisdom. His highest stat is Charisma, so maybe he's really a sorcerer or warlock? This is Sam we are talking about, and his characters are never what they seem.

4.Thjazi's final message moments. Working backwards here, but I know those final words to Hal are gonna be important in unravelling a ton of threads. What was in the sky that caught his attention and worried him? Why was he worried about Thimble (and was 1000% correct to be). What do Bolaire and Murray have to do with the plan? What is so important that Thjazi used his final moments of life to make sure Hal got the message? I WANT TO KNOW THINGS!

5.WTFISUWT MASK? Liam made a point of saying that he and his family had no worries or thoughts about Bolaire and the mask on his face, so clearly there is something important about their history. But now, Thaisha and Hal are staring at a new mask that ominously came out of a box AND BRENNAN ENDED IT THERE?? So what is the mask, why is it on Bolaire, and why did one just reform from a box????

6.And most importantly, ANIMALS!!!!!!! Pin (the fox) and Wulfric (the wolf) are confirmed friends and that makes me so incredibly happy! Ghost-Wolf and reanimated Fox besties forever!!!! (Also Laura liked a comment in the Beacon chat asking for a Pin plush so... GIMMEEEEE)
