If I could ask for a protection spell right now that'd be great. I was in sleep paralysis and as soon as I could get up I turned my lamp on and the bulb blew so I'm a little freaked out right now and have no energy to protect myself.

You didn’t mention if you had tools, but with not having the energy these are easy for you. I am sharing these because they have all worked for me. If anyone has any, please share. Thank you;

Mori Kei in tumblr: Interview with magical Rae

Here in FYMK we are always trying (but sometimes failing) to create new content for the Mori online comunity. So we decided to do interviews with the tumblr mori community.

Today we have the pleasure to present you (for if you didn’t know them already) to one of the most magical persons in tumblr: Rae ( c4tbus​ ).

We made some questions about what we thoght important in Mori Kei, but if you have your own questions, feel free to send them to their question box, or to ours.

How you came into Mori Kei style? When? Can we know how old were you? What was your first immpression about it?

I came into Mori Kei after searching on tumblr for layered outfits in which I came across the tumblr user shortcuttothestars. Her outfits were so amazing to me I had just been out of high school for a year and I was 19 at the time. I was so use to dressing to blend in and keep to myself I didn't have to to be elaborate. So coming out of high school it was an awkward phase I felt like I didn't know how to dress myself so she was the perfect inspiration to get me to try something different. My first impression of Mori Kei was wow this is so magical and fairy tale like and it was cool because it wasn't something for little girls no anyone could wear it! And it definitely made dressing up for the day a lot more fun and it motivated me to not just put some leggings and a sweatshirt on for the day haha 

 What are your principal activities now? You make some kind of creative work? Would you like to? 

A big activity for me is running my blog and my facebook keeping up with messages and trying to give inspiration as best as I can. I also have my own clothing brand Sundown Life Apparel which it's in its beginner phase at the moment. I hope to make clothing, bags, and I've made a lot of accessories so far. I'm working on opening a site as a personal stylist on tumblr called 6rimoire. I was hoping to have it started sooner but I hit a couple of bumps along the way. But once it gets going I hope for it to be a useful tool for people who are new to these fashion subcultures who want to find outfits suited to them.

Where are you from? Is it cold or hot? Old or new? Big citty or small town?Originally I'm from Virginia and I moved to Pennsylvania when I was 10. Pennsylvania is pretty moderate weather. But in the summer it's usually the humidity that makes you want to stay inside. The town I live in is very small. Not a whole lot to do so I feel that was another reason I connected with mori kei, I'm out in the middle of the woods pretty much. In town though where I live now I live in a hundred year old Victorian home that was converted into several apartments. And the history is great here. And the home I live in happens to be in the historic district so I always feel like I fit right in with the houses when I'm wearing Mori Kei. 

Do you know a lot of people who use Mori Kei style or live the life style?

I've met a lot of amazing people on tumblr you wear Mori Kei, and other fashions I'm into. It's great sharing on there my outfit of the day and seeing theirs and getting inspiration from each other. 

Do you like talking on the phone? Do you like your voice?

No I really can't stand to talk on the phone. I don't mind using a webcam though because then I can understand better what people are saying by watching their lips. I'm hard of hearing. As for my voice it's hit or miss for me. Somedays I don't mind it and others I'm just like I'm 21 why do I sound like a child!! 

Do you like your hand writing?

I have to be using a pen to like my handwriting and when I write in cursive is when I really appreciate my hand writing but if I look at my old school notes where I'm half falling asleep it looks like chicken scratch haha

What are the things you love the most? And the things you love most doing?

I love to draw, I'd really love to get into painting but I don't have the supplies for it yet. I love to go thrifting especially at really cool thrift stores. There was one in a town about an hour away that had clothes from the 1950s to 1920s which was so neat. Lace and velvet!! And watching movies on a rainy day curled up in a blanket is probably my top favorite thing to do.  

Do you like people or not so much? What about internet people? Do you have any pen pals? Would you like to?

I'm an introvert I don't really like going out and meeting new people especially where I live. There are tons of racist people in my area and I really don't want to go out and deal with that when I don't have to. My internet friends are amazing though if it were possible to switch out the people who are here with them that would be so cool. And I'd be a lot happier! Pen pals not really it's more just a conversation here and there online. It's a lot of work to have a pen pal, it'd be nice to have one though but too many and I wouldn't be able to keep up!

What do you think about using Mori Kei style, but not switching to a more healthy or ecofriendly way of life?

Well I know I enjoy Mori Kei and dressing up it helps my self esteem and makes me feel good about myself. But I know a lot of people who dress in Mori Kei often thrift there clothes not just because oh it's fun but because they have to because they don't have extra funds to go out and buy things for themselves that are expensive. And being healthy and ecofriendly can be very expensive especially when you live somewhere where they tax fruits and vegetables highly. And ecofriendly things have become more easier to obtain but there are still things that are just pricey. 

Do you like spending a lot in clothes? It depends?

I hate spending a lot of money on clothes. It makes me stress out. But yes there are times where if I have extra money which is rare I will buy something I NEED like a new coat, or underwear, shoes. Those things tend to be expensive and buying it that way can help to make it last longer. When you buy cheap things they tend to ware easily. 

Anything else I'm missing and you consider important about yourself?
