Hugo hadn't taken some meds for most of the day, which left him slightly irritable by the time it came to getting ready for the ball. This was why he was left trying to slam a dress shoe on his prosthetic. "How weird would it be if I just went with one shoe," he said, frustrated, trying to pull at the heel as if it would stretch. "Why do they have to make dress shoes so structured. I should've bought new ones."

"Do you need a hand? You look like you're trying to balance more than on persons fair share of belongings there." Elijah pointed out with a laugh at all the bags she was attempting to pick up. "I'm assuming this is Christmas shopping?"

Lily turned when she thought she heard her name, but stepped forward still. that was a mistake because she ran right into another, nearly tripping on her own dress. Lily gripped the other to keep them from falling as she turned back to look at the other. “I am so sorry...” she trailed off though when she noticed Auggie, and a little flutter in her stomach went off as she surveyed Augusta. She looked stunning, and Lily went speechless for a small moment. “Are you alright?” she asked.

Hugo limped inside the door, after hiding out for a bit at his parents since the attack. His residual limb was still giving him some pain from the festival and the chaos, and he just needed a break without his prosthetic for a bit. “Aug? You home?” he called out, grabbing an ice pack from the freezer.

Alec had been overworking himself since his fight with Gale, if he could call it that. He hated the way he felt, and he hated everything about the situation. It felt like he was fifteen again, feeling so helpless and hopeless, and using dance to ignore anything. He found himself falling into an old habits, especially with the nearing of the anniversary of his mother's death. It always messed him up, and he knew he promised Jules he'd take care of himself ever since he passed out, but this year his feelings got the better of him. He spent hours in the studio, until finally his wobbly legs forced him to stop. Feeling a bit faint, he slid back against the walls, grabbing his water hoping the room could stop spinning a bit. He raised his head when he heard a noise to find Augusta, "Augusta, hi, sorry, did you have a private in here? I don't remember seeing it on the schedule."

"What?" Maggie said, turning when something was thrown her way, It was in one of her blind spots so it just hit her instead of being able to just catch it. "Just put that anywhere," she said. "Why didn't you just walk that over here?"
