“So you’re still here.”

Crow’s expression was unusually serious, even though Yaiba wouldn’t be able to see it while he approached--ever the dramatic, the fox had opted to face the sunset in the distance while Crow came from behind. It didn’t matter, though, the hedgehog wouldn’t strike this foe unfairly; not this time, anyway.

Coming to a stop some distance away, he raised Tomahawk in one hand, pointed toward the bassist, while the wing on his opposite shoulder unfurled behind him.

That’s when he finally felt the power radiating from his opponent. There was no stopping a grin spreading across his face now.

“Yai, how long do you plan to just stand there? Or are ya scared these crimson flames’ll roast ya before you can finish the first swing?”

Of course they’d have to cross paths like this.

It wasn’t something the Lopunny wanted. Rosa was one of the last people in the city she loved. She was dear to her. She was someone that had been there for so long that it felt as though she’d always been. She was more than a friend. She was a sister.

And she’d gone and fallen on the wrong side of this little fight.

“I wonder what Simon would say if he saw you out here playing with his toys.” The words sounded harsh to her own ears, but there was no taking them back now. 

“Really, Rosie... Who are you out here fighting for?”

     She can’t help but be on edge, what with beams of love and heartbreak littering the air, little devil monsters roaming the streets and, for God’s sake, half-off chocolate in the sales’ aisles!

     Thus when unknown footsteps approach, she must call them out before any more surprises hit.

Sunny swept his hair in front of himself, scattering the blast of feathers away. He wasn’t having a hard time holding his own against this particular monster, but also wasn’t getting any to closer to actually defeating it. With his power and range only a fraction of its true state, trying to deflect the monster’s attacks was futile-- at least when its attacks were so imprecise, and the massive thing never came closer than 100 feet to the ground. 

In the gab between attacks, Sunny stared up at the mess of beating wings looming over the streets. He supposed that this was what a bow would be useful for-- a pit he didn’t know how to use it, or any weapon for that matter. Not once had he actually managed to hit a monster with the bow. The other viable option was flying, which... other people made it look easy. Sunny just couldn’t seem to will himself to get off the ground. Flying... was way more intimidating than the monster.

Maybe Titan had taken to this transforming thing a little too well. By all rights, he shouldn’t have been able to land as poised as he did behind Orion, just quick enough to fire his golden bow at an oncoming monster, buying them a moment.

“Sorry, that one got away from me,” he paused to glance over his shoulder to the taller bison,

“but I’ve got your back now.”

Actually, her outfit resembles the appearance of a certain Chaldea doctor’s favorite net idol... What a coincidence!

This is very embarrassing for her, so please be gentle with her.

She won’t directly engage with the monsters unless they’re inconveniencing her in some way.
