Despite his calm demeanor, and despite the fact that the good doctor acted ignorant as ever to the changes around him, he really wasn't. There were signs here and there, and with how observant Stein was of everything, it wasn't all that hard to miss. Still, he kept quiet about it all, not wanting to panic most if there was no need for it. That was how he would approach the manner in general.
On one hand, Stein was concerned. He knew what it mean, as Al had already told him exactly what was to come. A sort of end of the world ordeal. Granted he had joked about the entire deal, he acted like it didn't bother him, but really he was serious about it and trying his best to prepare for whatever was to come. Although, he didn't have the usual dread that nay normal person would have. But rather an odd...excitement of sorts dwelled inside of him. Something that shouldn't have been there, yet it was...
"...War is coming. This one's going to be nasty, isn't it?" he pondered, closing his eyes as he shook his head.
A moment of silence was there for a minute or two before a huge grin spread across his face, fangs grown once more, a dark chuckle arising from him.
