The extraordinary and somewhat scary Gubbio "cable-car" or funivia which takes passengers up and down the mountain above the town
"Cable-car" is a rather grand description for what is more like a ride in half a bird cage. It was built over 60 years ago and each "bird-cage" holds a maximum of two people

20200725_F0001: Long climb to the big buddha by Wei-Feng Xue Via Flickr: - If you want to visit the big Tian Tan Buddha stature on foot then this is probably the right way. Of course I took this shot on the Ngong Ping 360 Cable-car so no need to physically climb the mountain.
