What Should We Do Now?

Since Eiona deals with clothes, you decide to get their opinion on your very minimal outfit.

You remember Eiona showing you some blue cloaks when you helped them with their cart.

You like the sound of that. According to Eiona the [Blessed Travlers Cloak] can turn magic damage into mana that you can reuse. You can’t help but wonder how useful it will be on your adventure. You haven’t fought any enemies that primarily use magic based attacks yet. The Rot all seem to prefer their claws and teeth.

Eiona lays out their inventory for you again. Most isn’t for sale but now you can see the price tags for each one.

Cal brings up a good point, can you afford the cloak when you are already so deeply in debt? You have a bad feeling that the Mayor might not honor your deal with the crown and any money you can hold onto might save your life down the line.

Go right to see if we can get some armor and information on the castle.

You head right and end up in a large open pavilion filled with three [Wooden Stalls]

Behind one of these stalls is a familiar face, [Eiona the Silk Trader]

They have set out their goods, displaying the bolts of cloth and [Magic Armor] they showed you when you first met.

The other two stalls are empty and you recognize the farmer [Cabo Heights] who lingers about the mostly empty marketplace.

This high up, you can still see for quiet some distance. The [Amber Forest] stretches out in all directions and you think you catch a glimpse of [Something Metallic] zooming away with incredible speed.

Greet Eiona! They seem to have set up fine!

You take a moment to greet Eiona and check in on how they are doing.

They seem pretty content at their stall, you guess fabric sells well when everyone needs it.

You notice that Eiona has pillows and blankets set up behind their stall that do not appear to be for sale. You wonder if they also sleep at their stall while in town.

Tell him Bason let us in and introduce ourselves formally.

Once again you introduce yourself and every member of your party, and Eiona hands over their papers.

So you should be looking for a [Guard] to let you into the city. Part of you realizes that without Eiona, you might have run into trouble. Neither you or Gestalt have any papers and you aren’t sure what Cal has in their parents journal.

Your good deed is paying off, if you hadn’t helped Eiona you might not have gotten into the city.

You nod politely at the two robots, only Ron-77 acknowledges you.

Ron-77 sounds almost insulted at Cabo not calling today a ‘good day.’

When Daricom-3 finally speaks, it is low and resonate, like they are speaking from underwater. They have no emotion in their voice, only cold facts about the weather.

It might rain? That would be bad for you considering how water damages your body.

From Cabo’s tired expression, you can tell that the robots must get pretty easily distracted.

What Should We Do Now?

Thank them for their time before moving in.

You thank Bason, who goes back to their guard duty.

Heading further down the trail you see a large [Storage Barn] full of pulleys and bales of [Dromo]

You can see inside the barn and you notice that there is a small set of doors that leads [OUT] into the Dromo fields.

Standing in front of the barn is a small figure who looks remarkably similar to Bason, you assume they must be [Cabo], the parent Bason talked about.

They are arguing with the two [Robots] you saw tending the fields earlier.

The robot named [Ron-77] has a soft high pitched voice and they are fawning over the larger boxy robot, who seems completely zoned out at the moment.

Cabo turns around to see you and your team, they almost go for their sword, but they hesitate.

Cabo seems annoyed that you witnessed their argument, but they shrug and seem to accept your presence.

Meanwhile, Ron-77 continues to serenade the other robot in a passionate alto.

You have no idea how Yexxies Harbor is going to be laid out. It would be in your best interest to ask for directions.

Not making any loud noises inside the tavern? While probably helpful advice it wasn’t so confusing.

Cabo looks up at the sun. It is no longer directly overhead, but starting to move lower in the sky as evening approaches.

Cabo puts a hand on their forehead, rubbing their temples with two fingers. They look absolutely furious.

You feel a wave of guilt, did Cabo lose money because they stopped to talk to you? They have every right to be upset.
