This is a redraw of an old comic I drew in ~2018 of the Cabot's from fallout 4. I'm sure I drew this purely to convince my mate there was angst potential with Jack and Edward being shipped together.

I think this dialogue proves I was destined to write a story like Haunts one day.

So we know Moldaver was at least as old as The Ghoul. What if the secret to her longevity has to do with whatever Dunwich-ass shit was going on with the Cabots? Like some other person affected by precursor tech was just kinda like "Yeah here take my blood"

i looked up percival lowell because of a post about his astronomy contributions, on a hunch he was a lowellite. he is from mass, and i just learned of the term "boston brahmin," which includes both the lowell and cabot families, among about a dozen others

i am quite surprised that there isn't any overt mention of this network of families in fo4 to my knowledge, beyond them going to the trouble of establishing that the cabots have an effectively immortal influence on the region

i also can't find any analysis of the toast to explain the final line's meaning. the best i can speculate is that it's suggesting that the cabots were the top notch in the social scene

Today in Fallout, 09/05/23:

Jack Cabot writes an entry on his personal terminal about experimenting with new transistors. He used these to create a portable version of the Abremalin field generator, a way of containing the power of Lorenzo's artifact.

I've been experimenting with some of the new transistors, and it looks possible to make a portable version of the Abremalin field generator. This would be very useful if we ever had to move Lorenzo to a different facility for any reason. A lot more work is necessary of course, and testing it on Lorenzo is out of the question - I won't risk shutting down the main field. But replicating the current field frequency pattern should at least give us something that we could try in an emergency, even if I can't be 100% certain it will work.
