                       since, as we know, my muse for dinah is really, really bad on how much it fluctuates and it causes me to be super inactive here, i’m gonna move her to @everlightblessing​ for a bit. at least until i’m feeling her stronger again and i have a lot of muse again. so you should follow me there.

GRAYISH BLUE IRISES averted towards the woman, that was occupying the seat next to him at the bar. Digger sure as hell came for the drinks, and not for the chit-chatter. Raising the glass of liquor to his lips he took the sip he was longing for– the liquid rewarded his senses with its burning bitter sweet taste, he wiped his mouth  before finally answering her,  ❝ I’m not ‘ere for the small talk, songbird. Ye know it… What did ya wanna talk ‘bout with the Ol’ Captain anyways, eh? ❞

                 Deep breath in and all the strength that it possibly takes not to roll her eyes, Dinah leans into the counter, giving the girl on the other side of the bar a look. This could’ve gone a lot worse. “Maybe I should just close the whole place, then?” She makes a face, shaking her head and gesturing to the door with her hand, “I just need to find Harley, okay? Cops said she knows you, but she’s impossible to reach, I figured maybe old friends might know where she is.”

ROMAN ALWAYS WONDERED at Canary’s voice –– he has found out for the time she’d been working with him that it soothed him. It’s was a miracle actually, since everything else annoyed him. Especially people who laughed  out loud, or praised the Joker, or just in general disobeyed his whims. And Dinah wasn’t neither of them, so naturally he was fond of her. ❝Of course, you deserved it, take it.  ❞  Sionis poured both of them drinks and raised his glass at her, taking a sip. ❝ Hmm, I don’t know. I would say..surprise me, little bird. Sing something that reminds you of me.Tonight you’re singing  your heart out. Come on, let’s get you downstairs,  let’s not make people wait any longer for the Black Mask to open. ❞ In fact,  he couldn’t wait for her performance, it always enchanted him like the first time.

                        A small smile and a nod, Dinah looks at the piece of paper in her hands one last time before she folds it and clips it to the inside of her boots with a hairpin. This is still Gotham, after all, leaving a check with a big sum of money, well any kind of money for that matter, unwatched backstage at the Black Mask Club? That was an invitation for theft. “Ah! I don’t know if I know any songs about powerful smart businessmen, Mr S,” she chuckles, and it takes everything in her not to roll her eyes at the obvious ass-kissing, but she doesn’t. He likes it, after all, and keeping her boss happy is what matters.

Still, she takes a sip off her glass and heads up the few stairs that head to the center stage of the club, looking over her shoulder and pointing at Roman to get to the audience before she comes out. “Hurry, I’m turning off the lights,” she whispers.
