Working on a new #cactusandsucculents room. We don’t have a sunroom at our new home but we have huge windows with the most beautiful light.

I got this baby at a 99 Ranch Market. He was a small cutting in a 10" pot. He also moved with us to this house and that when I added the trellis.
Your plants don't have to look perfect, they go through tough time, like us. I did overwater him a bit in February and got sunburned on the lower part, but damn he is coming back strong. 💚 💪🏽
And here we see a couple of dinos in their natural habitat.
I loved @lieutenantmalcolmreed 's plant introduction so much I thought I'd do one one my own! Sorry in advance for this being a long post, I am a very impulsive cactus buyer
This is Rosa, I've had her since primary school! My brother and I each got one nestled in the top of our stocking one Christmas, but obviously the fact that the pot was hidden by the fabric made getting it out without getting stabbed rather difficult! You can sort of see one up from the bottom right she has a very long spike which always reminds me of Rosa from B99 and her secret knife 😄
Next up we have Amelie and Arthur, who I got at the freshers plant stall in second year!
Here is Marcus! I can't remember when I got him tbh but it was in the same year as Amelie and Arthur I think
Leoni and Belle! My parents bought me these two beauties as a surprise while I was at uni, and Leoni started flowering for the first time last year and has done the same again this year - not quite a full ring like last year but she's getting there ❤
This budding boi is Robin - I got him last Easter (actually a year ago yesterday!) at a local plant shop, and while I don't choose names for my cacti so much as feel them when the right name pops into my mind, this one may have been somewhat influenced by me having just got back from seeing Robin Reitsma in the German run of Bat out of Hell. I've also added a photo of when I first got Robin so you can see just how much he's grown in one year!
Next up we have Bertie and Melissa, two more uni purchases (I really do see the "plant sale on the concourse" sign and just lose all inhibitions huh)
Aaaand I am not allowed any more photos so the rest will be in a reblog 😬
Summer plants are in 😻🌞🌱🌿

I’m officially home after finishing my third year in uni and I’m so happy to have -almost- all my children together (i still cant identify three of them tho)
New cactus 💕
