#cactus id

Help with ID: someone gave me this cactus and it grew a little over the winter. Are there any cactus specialists out there who can tell me what it is?

Do you know what kind of cactus this might be or how I can best care for it? I just got it today and the pot doesn’t say what kind it is

I am unfortunately not very good at IDing cacti!

But thankfully care for cacti is pretty standard, I'd say water once a month (but make sure it's a very good soaking, don't skimp!) but if it gets colder in the winter for you then water even less during winter, maybe once every 2 or 3 months even. Cacti also love sun so give it as much as possible!

Maybe some of my followers know what kind of cactus this is?

Time to talk about the new collection unfurling on my desk back in my parent’s home. So cacti have never been my family’s, nor my own, cup of tea. We are not a fan of the spikes, and since we have a little adventuring senior kitty about cacti were a no-go (aside from the Christmas cactus hanging out in a corner). That being said on one of the nursery trips my mom and I went on there was this stunning, blooming, cacti hanging from the ceiling, and we managed to find cuttings of it that the nursery was selling (top photo).  At first, we anticipated that it would be one of the few, where the other is the Christmas cactus. But then on another trip we found these strange little cacti just hanging out (bottom left) and simply could not resist. Yesterday, my mom simply came by my room and placed the third (bottom right) cactus on my desk next to the two others. I have 0 idea what any of these are, but I am so amused by the little collection. (21/06/2020)

Got some mystery cuttings and they didn’t come labeled, anybody have any ideas? I’m thinking sandstone vygie and rhipsalis, but I’m not sure?

hello! I was wondering if you could help me ID these two cacti?

The green pot was just the two rounded bases when I first bought him, and he stayed that way for a bit, but then I put him in that pot, watered him and put him near a window and suddenly he’s growing like crazy!

Unfortunately I'm not very good with IDing cacti! Green pot is probably an Opuntia of some kind but that's all I've got. Perhaps a follower knows?

Hi! Would you mind identifying my new cactus for me?

Eeeek, Cactus are so incredibly hard for me. I know a few but not very many. Probably less than I can count on my hand. It’s especially hard to make out if it has actual spines or if it’s just fuzz. And they can often grow more ridges as they age, too. 

I honestly can’t even begin to guess right now.
