Adore You || Emily & Cade

Emily loved the nearing spring time, but ever since Cade had arrived back in Tulsa she'd dreading hearing the month March. Now that March has finally arrived, Emily has officially started coming to terms that Cade will be leaving and won't be coming back for a while. She had to realize that he was going to be doubling up on classes, so she wouldn't see him for quite some time. She wanted to spend every possible second with him that she could now that the time has come that he's going to have to start packing soon, and getting ready to leave. 

To keep the two of them in a good mood, Emily had come up with an idea. She had come up with the surprise party for him with her and his friends closest to him in Tulsa. As for something special for the two of them, Emily had that handled too. She had a fun night planned for the two of them. She had put a note on his bedside table that said Meet me in the park at 5:00. 

It was 4:50 and Emily had arrived at the park. She sat down in the swing waiting for Cade to show up. She started to push herself on the swing as she waited. She swung her legs up and down as she looked around searching for him feeling the wind running through her hair. Then she spotted him. He was near the swing, and she continued to swing while he neared. "There's the man of the night!" she called to him as he arrived at the swing she was swinging in.

Think Cade and Emily will last once Cade leaves again? Think Emily will hit rock bottom again while he's gone?

Dear Anonymous Reader, 

Is this a legitimate question? Amidst cheating rumors, psycho shootings, and long distance schooling, these two have remained plain-jane, rock solid. Unless he actually gets his juicy side on and sucks face with some chicks hanging around the Harvard area, I doubt I’ll ever get to write anything more than “yes, they’ll last.” 

As for Miss Reed’s state of mind, who can say what will happen when that umbilical cord gets all twisted up again. I can only suggest taking up a hobby, or perhaps collecting a naughty magazine or two. You know he’s got a few.

How do you feel about Cade, Gwen, Andy, Hailey, and Brett?

Cade: He’s the most amazing man that I’ve ever met. He is my rock. He’s my person to fall on when I need someone. He’s my light at the end of the tunnel, and he’s most importantly the only man that I could ever see myself with in the future and the only one that I want to face the world with. I’ve never loved anyone or anything as much as I love Cade Madden.

Gwen: Is one of kindest people in Tulsa. She was one of my first friends that I made here. She’s been there for me since the beginning and I could never thank her enough for being so amazing to me. She’s amazing at being a nurse, and she made me feel at home when I’ve been in the hospital. She’s amazing.

Andy: He’s my big brother that I’ve always wanted. When I heard he was having to go fight in the war, I was devastated. Andy is one great guy. He’s one the best men that Tulsa has to offer. Whichever woman is lucky enough to end up with him better not ever let him go. He fights for what he wants, and he’s a remarkable person. I can’t thank him enough for being there for me when I needed him the most after Cade left, and I can’t thank him enough for fighting for our country.

Hailey: She’s one of the people that I miss the most. I haven’t spoken to her since the night of her wedding, and that’s been a while. I miss her being around to talk to. She’s so busy now that she barely has time for anyone over here on our side. I miss her to death, and I hope she knows that. She will always be one of my best friends, Greaser or Soc.

Finally, Brett: He has been an amazing friend to me. He got shot by someone that was trying to hurt me, for goodness sakes. I can never repay him for that. I don’t know what I would have done if he had died that night. Brett isn’t given the amount of credit he is due in this town. We all make mistakes, so what. Give people another chance. 

Lastly, I would like to say that in the end all of these people have impacted my life and will one day change the world. I love you all more than you know<3

Dear  Hey Cade,

I'm kind of tired of writing the whole 'dear' thing. I hope you don't mind. How have you been doing? I've been good. Things have been tough here. Apparently the dry season hasn't left yet so we are melting while we're fighting here. It's hot as balls and yet they make us stand out here in the blazing sun. At least the trees provide us some shade but the humidity here is suffocating enough to kill.

I can tell you things over here change you. I've seen things that I hope none of you ever see. I might return a lot more serious than when I left. I might come back contemplative but I am trying to stay the same person who left. I made a lot of promises but they are becoming harder to keep. You know I was almost shot yesterday? The bullet just missed my head. Thankfully, it became lodged in a tree behind me before it hit anyone but those sort of things shake you up, you know? God, I sound like a girl.

Anyway, how is Tulsa? Anything big going on? I've heard that they're doing the masquerade ball. Sad I have to miss that too. I swear to God I want a huge party for my return to make up for everything I miss. Okay maybe not huge but definitely something people will remember, maybe even Penny Lane worthy. Have fun. I'm going to cut this short before I break out crying or something. Stay safe, kid.

Hysteria // Brynn

The door cautiously crept open, and for a moment, she half-expected to see one of her boys. Her heart leaped briefly before she realized no one was coming. It was her father's face that appeared from behind the wooden prison gate. "Get out!" She hollered, near blinding rage and those sickening, weak tears. "Leave me alone, leave me alone...I'll be perfect. I'm trying. I'm trying." Her voice broke in desperation. The article held humiliating and heartbreaking words. She was the rumored other woman, and now she was without a best friend, someone else was taking that from her. Everything she ever wanted seemed to slip through her grasp and into someone else's. A fake, perfect smile was desired out of her, and it's exactly what they'd get.

"You are a Turner," her father's calming tone broke through her thoughts. That was the decision she'd made. She could have had a different last name, but she gave it up. She gave it all up. No one to blame but herself, so she nodded. "Scream and holler all you want up here, but you keep your chin up when you step out those doors. Do you understand?" Again, another nod was all she could manage. "It just words, Brynnie, no one will care tomorrow." He gave her a little smile as he kissed her forehead.

But it hurts just the same, she thought, the true and untrue words alike.

When they finally go public, please remember that I called it first. Cade Madden and Brynn Turner are far from friends, it’s absurd to think otherwise. The sparks that ignite when they look at each other are impossible to ignore, unless you’re Emily Reed. But hey, when having a secret affair, whether of the body or of the heart, it helps to have a girlfriend who is blind. Casey Mulligan and Hailey Thompson, anyone?

As previously reported, they were seen together at the reveal party being very cozy and then leaving in his car. After that, the reports go silent, so I’d use my imagination. Brynn Turner has had a special little smile for that gorgeous babe for a while now. Can we blame her? I know I don’t. Teenage love is so fickle, doves.

Bang, bang, he shot me down...

Greetings, doves!

I can hear Nancy Sinatra's voice now as I report Tulsa's latest tragedy. Emily Reed, according to my sources, was shot just the other night by an unknown assailant, which could explain the sightings of Cade Madden back in town. Could it be a Greaser attack? We know they like their guns, but then again, isn't the first suspect always the lover? Maybe, baby did shoot her down.

On a happier note, Rodney Dodger, the infamous Greaser leader and possible suspect in above shooting, celebrated another year of surviving rumbles and tormenting Socs. Congratulations, sir, to many more of my articles in which your name will appear.

Peace and love, Tulsa could definitely use some, and Miss Rafferty might start preaching a little more of it with the weed she is reportedly buying from Griffin Walters. Nothing wrong with letting your hippie flag fly, doll, let it fly. Just be careful of the hard stuff, don't need you majorly tripping on those bridges you find yourself on.

Keep spilling the juice, and I'll keep reporting it. Such a beautiful relationship. Cain and Hailey or Carmen and Rodney are amateurs, I think you and me make the best pair.
