You wouldn't think that it is a Restaurant. It looks like an old-mansion-house from the outside. Inside... it's all vintage. Dim lights. You'll get that feeling of being in the Spanish times... Great food! It is a culinary school as well. To celebrate my brother's birthday :)

Cafe Ysabel

For our Christmas dinner Jason brought me to this beautiful place called Cafe Ysabel in San Juan. It was really romantic and, the place had such a cozy ambiance!

Our set menu for the night! Btw, make sure to go here with an empty stomach!

For our first course meal we were served mixed greens salad with smoked salmon in honey mustard dressing

Duet of lobster bisque and brocolli

He knew i was a steak lover so he ordered a grilled hanger steak with wild mushroom creme garlic mashed potato for our main course! 

The molten chocoloate cake with ice cream was really yummy and, i loved the mixture of the warm overflowing chocolate cake and ice cream!

I really liked the way they presented their food and, i guess my favorite would have to be the lobster bisque and of course the dessert! Would definitely go back here in the future!
