Reigen + Mob | Mob Psycho 100 24-09-2022
Dunno why, but now that I know that Reigen is actually a (likely good) cook canonically, I just want to see him trying to teach Mob to cook too, so he doesn't only eat instant food or other quick but boring dishes that aren't really that good for him either when no one is around to make him something.
Reigen tries to accommodate Mob's metal binding struggle with utensils by getting mostly wooden plastic or cooking instruments when it's possible, like this Mob won't feel bad for yet again bending a spatula.
Results aren't always the top, but they both have fun in the process and Mob feel more confident in the kitchen, so hey, it's okay if it burnt a little bit.
I dunno, I can just picture Reigen ready to help Mob learn to cook and eat more properly too

MIT Bros Learning to Cook
Summary: Momma Rhodes hauls her boys into the kitchen and teaches them how to be less of a disaster.
“Alright you two. It’s high time you learned how to cook. Now get in here.”
“Did she say ‘cook’?”
“She couldn’t have said ‘cook’.”
“I think she might be going mad.”
“Tony, you’re going to chop the vegetables.”
“You’re going to let him handle knives?!”
“With the same confidence I’m gonna let you handle the stove. You’re making the sauce, Jimmy. Just do what I tell you.”
“You’re going to let him be in charge of the fire?!”
“Don’t you get started with me, Tones. Fire-extinguishing bot.”
“You know you love Dum-E— OW!”
“Cut the tomatoes, not your fingers, sweetpea.”

Takashi thought he'd have the morning all to himself. It was a national holiday so there was no school. His little sisters, Mana and Luna, were at their friends house for a play date. His mother was out to the spa courtesy of his treat - having saved up enough money for her birthday present - and no toman activity till later tonight.
This was the first time he found himself not fussing over his siblings, clubmates or Toman members in need of some scolding or patching up and such he found himself slump over the couch with nothing to do. Until his phone rang. And the familiar name of their resident crybaby captain of the first division flashed on the screen.
stuff i know about cooking
For baking - use butter for the oil and milk instead of water. Add vanilla, i don’t care if it doesn’t call for it. Add. The. Vanilla. Add some cocoa powder if its brownies or cake or fudge or anything chocolate. (on that note, use semi sweet chocolate chips, not regular.)
Anything involving pasta - salt the water and add butter/olive oil before putting the noodles in. If you can, make your own sauce.
For spaghetti sauce? chop up a bunch of tomatoes doesn’t matter what kind, add a shit ton of basil (fresh if you can get it) and garlic and salt and pepper, put it in a pan with a little olive oil. boom, you have sauce.
For white sauce.. butter. garlic. in a pan. brown it. add a spoonful of flour until its lumpy. turn the heat down. pour your milk in and stir until the lumps melt and the liquid is getting thick. add a shit ton of parmesan. more parm that that. dont ever add mozzarella, it makes the texture all funky. put sliced mushrooms or green onion in with the garlic and butter, if you like that.
Anything that involves cheese, add some parmesan. And dont you dare buy the pre shredded stuff, get an actual block of parmesan, p l e a s e trust me its so worth it. Add cream cheese if you think you can get away with it.
Day 2192 - After we talked about wanting to do more vegetarian cooking, my friend’s parents generously invited us over for a cooking less making Indian dishes such as dahl. We had so much fun cooking and eating that I forgot to take any pictures until the leftovers were packed up. ;)
