Marauders Spooktober Day 2: Leaves

Sirius was sitting on this bench for 2 and a half hours now, waiting. For what exactly? he doesn't know. James told im to find this bench at this exact location and wait. Maybe he should've listened more so he got the time right.
Its not unpleasant to sit here tho. The park the bench is located in is small and quiet. Hes surrounded by a few large trees that already turned orange, brown and yellow, selling autumn in all her beauty.
Sirius eyes trail a leave, that glides through the air falling from the tree right next to him. As if scripted in a movie it lands exactly in his lap. Sirius picks it up before it gets blown away again. He smiles to himself.
Why James told him to wait here, he doesn't know but just for that its okay. Catching falling leaves before it touches the ground should bring luck. At least Sirius thinks he heard Effie say it once.
He cradles the leave against his chest and looks up into the sky smiling. Slowly he closes his eyes and takes a deep breathe of autumn air inside his lungs. "Sirius" a voice calls out to him.
Shocked Sirius opens his eyes and turns in the direction he assumes it came from. >And there… there he stands. "Remus" Sirius breathes his name out like a prayer and jumps up from the bench.
He runs at Remus, arms stretched out. "WAIT." But its to late. Full blown force Sirius collides into Remus and throws them both of their feet. Remus, who ended up buried under Sirius groans while Sirius starts laughing and crying out of happiness.
"What are you doing here, Remus?" Sirius starts pressing kisses all over his face while simultaneously hugging him even closer. "Sirius…" Remus sounds out of breath. And to be fair Sirius is crushing him. Sirius lets go just a little so Remus can get the air easier again and looks down at him expectantly.
"Why are you here? You are not supposed to come for another 2 weeks." Remus takes a breath and smiles up at Sirius. "Surprise" Sirius smiles brightly and starts laughing. "We have semester break in a week and since im done with all my classes and i asked James if you're free too the next days. I decided to come visit earlier as surprise" Remus brushes a streak of hair behind Sirius ear and looks lovingly at him. "I missed you"
"We call every day" Sirius responds but its hard to hide the happy smile. Hes sure others would call him love crazy if they knew how happy he felt right now. "Calling everyday isn't nearly enough and you know that" Remus cradles Sirius face in his hands and just looks. "I love you"
They kiss slow and softly. When they finally decide to get up they have orange and yellow leaves stuck all over them both. Which reminds him… "MY LEAVE!" Sirius spins around trying to look for it, but with a whole bunch lying around looking mostly the same its hopeless. Sirius looks at Remus and shrugs. He doesn't need it. He got something better.
