INKTOBER 25 - Forsaken Cainhurst Castle, Bloodborne

My favorite area in the entire Bloodborne base game, and with one of the best boss battles, The Martyr Logarius.

The Cainhurst Castle belonged to the Vilebloods (enemies of the Healing Church for their use of the Old Blood) and was ruled by Queen Annalise. It's now abandoned to time, covered in snow and ice, following the Executioners' incursion, who mercilessly massacred its inhabitants, leaving only the servants alive.

Master Logarius, leader of the Executioners (a fanatical branch of the Healing Church's hunters), after discovering that Queen Annalise of Cainhurst is immortal, decides to stay and takes it upon himself to protect it from anyone who would try to uncover it, using the Crown of Illusions to protect the place for eternity.

While this optional area isn't as large as other areas in the game, I truly love it.
