re: the sinfonia personality quiz, I have seen a lot of people get a tie with walter-claude or jet-thomas or even jonathan-jet-thomas and it kind of makes me happy, because it means the test is working! Those characters are very similar to each other but with some fundamental differences so people get to choose which one they vibe better with 

Claude-Walter: They actually hate each other because they’re so alike, but one of their major difference is that Claude needs external validation to feel good while Walter is satisfied with internal and doesn’t need other people's “approval” to feel good about himself. They both love attention but Claude basically can’t function without it while to Walter attention is just fun extra but not the end goal. 

Jet-Thomas: These two are also very alike with their introverted and very caring natures, but I like to think their biggest difference lies in how they respond to conflict: Jet avoids conflict situations to his best abilities, while Thomas hardly shies away from them especially if it’s something personal. Jet often endures the mean comments he gets from others without bothering to start anything but Thomas will pretty quickly tell you if he’s upset with your words or actions. I guess to sum it up Thomas is the more “frank” one out of the two. 

Jet-Thomas-Jonathan: This one is a little easier since even though they share their kinda emotional and empathetic nature, Jonathan is the extroverted one who thrives in socialization. They’re all capable of being alone and they all share this “loves reading a lot and wants to learn more about the world and themselves through it” but Jonathan stands out with his his much less stereotypical “book person” exterior. Jet and Jonathan also have the stark contrast of reassuring through words vs direct actions, while Thomas is a mix of the two, although leans more towards words.  

Similar pairs are Edmund-Oliver, Thomas-Kennith and Laurent-Claude to name a few, but since I can’t recall people getting these ties I’ll save you from a wall of text haha. Feel free to hit me with an ask though if you want to know the main differences between your possible tie or a close call (like how I have with Claude and Leon myself)

Just a tiny update that if I work hard this week I should finally be able to finish the sinfonia line stickers!! I realized I might have to do some more than I planned because I currently have 28 but I’d have to either remove 4 to get 24 or add 4 to get 32 and I really don’t want to remove so :’)

I was doing some sprite stuff yesterday and found this original sprite I used for Rick and good god it looks so wonky and uncomfortable compared to what I use now. Like I know for most people it’s probably not much of a difference but for me it definitely is. I’m so glad I fixed that sprite because I wouldn't have wanted to stare at that one for the +100 hours of editing I still have left

Nanowrimo is over now and I managed to stack up 61k words this year, half of them probably from Sinfonia editing so around +30 hours used to work on it this month, excluding some sprite editing I didn’t count because it wasn’t text related. 

I also ended up writing some stuff for unlockable oneshots for the full version + gently working on some of the post-sinfonia content I want to release once the game is done and uploaded. I really want to write about when Cyrus arrives during the spring season, the summer that follows + some stuff from their third year

I’ll probably also end up making one more independent work in a novel format about their high school + uni years +  some stuff from their adulthood to sort of seal the deal - I KNOW I want to cover more than just their middle school and I’m well prepared for it, but it’ll be in the format of one work consisting of several shorter stories rather than one epic plot. And, of course, none of this is needed to play the game - it’s just extra stuff I predominantly make for myself.
