If you're looking for a story about an emotional affair that is actually good, Cairo Time exists. Juliette is supposed to meet up with her husband in Cairo, but he gets stuck in Gaza (he works for UN or something), so he asks his friend Tareq to keep her company. It catches them off-guard, and nothing actually happens, also Tareq is single.
Only thing is, it's about middle aged people, so idk how palatable it is to the tumblr audience.
